Baylor Scott & White Health Nurse Residency; Winter 2019

Hello Everyone!

I wanted to start this thread for those who are applying to the winter 2019 nurse residency cohort for Baylor Scott & White Health. This is so we can ask questions and help other possible future team members through the application and hiring process.

I have an interview for the McLanes Children's Hospital in the ED next week (pretty excited/nervous) but I haven't heard back from the other branches which also makes me nervous... The recruiter that I spoke with did say she would send my info around to the other places I applied. I just can't help but feel like all the spaces are filling haha.

Also, congrats on all of you accepting jobs! That's so exciting and I wish y'all the best! ?

I did get to tour the unit! It was amazing! It's brand new and they said that ICU nurses had a say in it's design. There is a lot of room to work in.

Nice!! I'm so jealous. I was going to ask them if I could fly in in November to do a tour and actually meet them in person haha

Is anyone interviewing at Mclane Children's? I was told they don't have any more positions open in PICU, so I was curious about what other units were being offered other than the ER!!
