Hello Everyone!
I wanted to start this thread for those who are applying to the winter 2019 nurse residency cohort for Baylor Scott & White Health. This is so we can ask questions and help other possible future team members through the application and hiring process.
Good luck!
Applied forever ago when the application opened and they didn't send me the assessment so I did that a week or two ago and still have not heard anything. I am focused on Grapevine and Forth Worth locations and have not even heard anything about an interview. Do you think I should give up hope or are people still hearing from them?
(I'm out of state so is there even an option for a video or phone interview or something like that)
When speaking with a recruiter on Monday, He mentioned there were still openings at Fort Worth I believe. I don't remember what unit he said, but he also said there were openings at other places as well like Waxahachie, possibly BUMC, and Irving because things happen and people may not accept. I would just keep hanging in there and if possible be open to other locations. Also, someone I spoke with was from out of state and I believe she did a Skype interview.
Okay! Baylor was initially my top choice, but I think the issue with the assessment not sending put me behind in the application process. Just got an offer from Cook Children's, so I guess I will accept that. I knew I wanted to end up in the Fort Worth area for sure, so I am just happy I have received at least one job offer there!
