@valerie11 Liberty University offers Old AND New Testament, both online.

Has anyone taken a PSYCH- Lifespan Growth and Development through Portage Learning? If so, how was it? Any papers?

@Delta @CSesh May I ask about how much it was to take the course online? Baylor is the only school I'm applying to that requires this so I don't want to have to pay a lot for a course that I may not even need...

@valerie11 Liberty University classes are $911 each. I'm going to see if Wayland has a cheaper class. I only need one religion (Old or New testament) course.

@Delta That sounds pretty comparable to Wayland Baptist University. The course I am looking into is $316 per credit hour (3 for New Testament) if I'm not mistaken. Really wish Baylor would just offer it online¯\(ツ)/¯  Thank you! ?

I took it there, it wasn’t too bad. We had one paper.

@FutureNURSE_Ada  Wow! OK. How were the exams? Short answer, multiple choice, etc. How was the instructor? I'm trying to figure out which (Portage or Dallas College)  PSYCH requires less activity...LOL. I know... lots of questions. I'm working so many hours right now, just to make sure all is good for next year.

Thanks!

@Delta since it’s self paced you don’t really have contact with the instructor unless they leave a comment on your quizzes/exams or if you reach out to them. But there’s about 8 modules each with an exam then a final exam and paper. The exams are multiple choice & fill in the blank and if I remember correctly they’re 30pts each and the quizzes aren’t worth anything. Hope that helps ?

Good to know. Thanks!

I applied on for the program on Friday. Nursing CAS just sent me an email saying everything was verified. Hopefully I hear back for an interview soon. Anyone else apply yet?

@genesys quinteroz I applied about 2-3 weeks ago and I got a confirmation from Baylor a few days later and they said  that they’re reviewing my file

Hey guys! Has anyone applied previously for Baylors distance ABSN? I had to send a HESI transcript in July for admission to the program, does anyone know if I have to resend it for the Fastbacc program? It was sent to the same email.
