Hey ya'll!

I'm so glad I found this forum! I just submitted my application on Sunday! I am anxiously waiting to hear back! Does anyone know when they might get back to me? I think NursingCAS hasn't checked off that they received my official transcripts, even though I got confirmation they were received... Nothing but nerves over here!

For those asking- I don't think the HESI was too challenging. I studied for a week before but it was mostly brushing up on grammar concepts and some HESI vocab. I stressed myself out for no reason!

Welcome to the group @allitoombs! I'm still waiting on Elsevier to send in my HESI scores, which I feel like is taking forever ? Also waiting on transcripts to be sent in, but once I get all of that finalized then I'll be ready to submit! I remember seeing from other chains that people heard back about interviews pretty quickly and a final answer within a few months!! Good luck to all!

@CSeshThanks for adding me! From my understanding it's basically a 2 part process. First, you submit to NursingCAS and they have to verify you entered things correctly. As well as checking they have received your official transcripts. Then, they forward it to Baylor. I believe since NursingCAS haven't verified they received my transcripts Baylor hasn't seen my application yet. I received an email from NursingCAS that they have received my application and were verifying it. On a forum from last year a girl said after she submitted she got an email from Baylor notifying her they received her application. I have yet to receive that email seeing as it will probably be the same.

@Charlotte25 Thanks!! When did you take your HESI? I took mine Saturday and by Sunday when I went to fill out my application, my score sheet was online. The application had a part for the scores that just said something like "Upload the PDF of your score sheet".

@Delta Do you mean on NursingCAS? If so, no. It asked me to enter in ALL of my classes that I have taken. That meant 4 years of my BA for Special Education plus the last year of my nursing pre-reqs. I'm not sure why the system has us do this since we have to submit transcripts... They also have this thing on the program materials portion of the application to manually put in which of your entered classes meet the criteria for the pre-reqs. I hope this answered your question!

@allitoombs I took mine last Monday! Yeah I uploaded the score sheet myself, but we're also supposed to have Elsevier email Baylor our report/scores. I guess that won't show up on NursingCAS though so I probably don't have to wait to submit my application for that now that I think about it!

@Charlotte25 How did you sign up to take your HESI? The way I signed up it said Baylor would automatically receive my scores upon completion of the exam. I followed the steps in the document Baylor has posted on the HESI information area.

@allitoombs Oh hmm..I feel like I definitely signed up for Baylor to receive my scores, but I can't remember. Is there a way we can find out if they got them or not? I'm pretty sure I followed all the steps in the documents but now I'm not sure! LOL, such a process!!

@Charlotte25 Hmmm. I'm not sure! I tried to look at my Evolve account and can't really find anything. Did you take it through Prometric? If you did then I'm pretty sure it will or already has been sent directly to them! On your PDF score sheet that they asked me to upload to NursingCAS, it says "Institution: BAYLOR UNIVERSITY-DISTANCE TESTING".
