Does BRCC still mail out acceptance letters in June??? I'm eager to know!! If so, I have a long wait!
I just called the nursin department and the lady said it will be the 2nd week in June. I was previously told it was the 1st week of June. For now looks like everyone will be waiting another week[/quote']
I called yesterday too. Ha!! I bet everyone was calling. I can tell "" (secretary or whomever she is) was aggravated. She was kinda rude! She said they were working on the letters now & will most likely start mailing them out this week. So, I'm guessing ppl will start getting them by the end of this week & the beginning of next week. I wish they had another way of doing this! We apply in Jan & have to wait almost 4 months! I wonder y they just don't email us through our BRCC email acct??? And then send out the letter w/ all the other info. It's better than waiting 90+ days!! Good luck!
I agree. I hate that everyone has a different answer, so you never really know the exact truth. When I asked when they will be sent out she specifically said "2nd week in June". She sounded aggravated also so I'm sure she's just tired of answering the same question over and over. The answer you got could mean we still may see them sometime this week. I'm just tired of not knowing. I'm not feeling as confident anymore after reading some posts on here, but I still may have a chance. I'm just ready to know so I'll know how to proceed with my life! Lol...good luck to you too :)

[/quote']I feel the same way! Either way would be a relief! If I get in-----AWESOME, but if I don't, I'll be sad...but...... I want to make plans 4 the next chapter of my life! This time I only applied to BRCC, if there is a next time----- I'm going to apply to more than one school. I've molded everything I've done around BRCC's curriculum, but I believe I may start gearing toward a BA program & take Nutrition & Chemistry. I still have to take Statistics & Micro, but I will add in the BA classes next semester!
I'm so ANXIOUS!!! I'm sure ill rush to the mailbox everyday until my letter arrivessssssssssssssssss! Lol
Also, I used to feel the same way about "confidence after reading posts on here" , but every year is individualized.. It really depends on the pool of ppl that applied. A girl that works w/ me applied in 2011 & didn't get in, she applied the next year -2012-, with the same grades, she didn't RE-TAKE the HESI & got in! The info on her app was the same!! So, you never know!! I was really shocked to see a post about the pool last year averaged a 90% on the HESI, because my score isn't that high.... & also my coworker got in with a 86% on the HeSI, and she got in that year------- so you never know.. I'm just trying to stay positive!

I heard conflicting things about whether or not they have a waiting list. I asked at one of the information meetings and the instructor said there is no waiting list. However, when I asked her if someone doesn't meet the requirements over the summer (doesn't get CPR certified, doesn't turn in documentation, drops out or the like) she said they WILL pull the next candidate to fill all 60 spots, but only during the summer. It would be really helpful in that case to have our rankings included in the letter.
