Hello eveyone is there anyone that attends Barry Universities Basic option nursing school in the fall. Can you please tell me how its like, the teachers, the experiences.
Nicole- Click on My account > private messages. I'll send you my email via a msg here..then reply with your email, so I can send you the study guide. If you don't work..you'll be fine with school! :)
Jpeds- I don't want to put my friends name on this thing, b/c I think the forum ppl will take down my post for mentioning names?Haha, but her initials are "S.T." What is your friends initials?
Ahhhh! I can't wait to start! Did any of you go to FIU prior to Barry?

P.S. - Have you guys bought the books yet?
Cary: Well Im new here so it doesnt let me send messages.. I went to Miami-Dade and got my AA there. I havent bought any books but I did go online and did research on all the books we need.. buying it online is so much cheaper! So maybe like 2 weeks before school starts I will start ordering them.
omg I really dont know what to expect.. nervous but excited!
Cary- I know what you mean and my friends initials are K.R so its not the same one lol.. but omg Im really excited too..
I am going to FIU right now to take Theology but I graduated from Miami Dade with my AA aswell. I havent checked the books out yet because I am afraid that some teachers might not use them. But Idk if I should wait until after orientation.. or idk What do you guys think? Theres also a site where you can rent them online? Or buy them like at barnes and nobles bc it comes out WAYYYY cheaper!
I don't know anyone that chose section 2, but I'm sure you will meet many people at orientation that have! Plus, we might have the same teachers, so we can help each other out :)
I went to FIU for all my pre-reqs. I have most of the books b/c a friend of mine that dropped out from the program sold them to me. The website that you rent books from is called "Chegg"..I don't want to rent books because I'm sure we will need the books for reference in future semesters and for the NCLEX. If you go to webadvisor and view your class schedules it tells you the books required and recommended for each class. Of course teachers may change their mind...but I find it unlikely that they would post it on webadvisor, if they were going to change it. I haven't bought school books at barnes and nobles...but I think the cheapest is Half.com, Ebay, and Amazon. It also seems some of the books are older editions..so it will be even cheaper. :)
