Yes you are right,i am accepted for the fall/January also and i had to take upper division classes.

January is better for me so...........last one left is Theology at PBA (4003 ) and i will be done 'til the beginning of the program.

Do you think that the accelerated program is better then the one in the fall???

That is what I did. I am starting in January and this Fall semester I finished the Bio-Med, Theology and the Upper Level Humanities that were required. According to my schedule however there is room for 6 credits to be taken during the first semester of the accelerated. I would recommend you call the Division of Nursing at Barry to see exactly what program it is that you were accepted into.

I got section 3 (school everyday!)..I have a friend who just registered for section 1..she was supposed to start NEXT fall, but she got lucky, yay! And 3 other friends of mine got accepted to the Baptist scholars. I already took my Theology and Bio-Ethics class..I wanted to get it out of the way so I can focus on my nursing classes only. Hopefully we can meet each other at orientation!

PS Which teacher do you have for Bio ethics? If you have the same teacher as I did, I can email you the study guides :)

For Bio-ethics i got alfarone..That would be great if you can do that! I wanted to take all my pre-reqs in the fall since I orginally got accepted in spring 2011 but when i when to register for classes the advisor asked if i wanted to start this fall. I was so surprise! But I said yes so now I'm starting in the fall. I hope I dont regret it. Im taking 8 classes and I have no idea how im going to do it.. We defintely have to meet for orientation.

Oh, I had Feddon-Flannigan..but I can still send you my notes if you want..just message me your email. 8 Classes is a lot, but it's possible! I hope you don't work! haha. Why not take the biomed class in fall, then theology in spring? I don't think you will regret your decision. To me the basic program is better because you're taking classes at a normal pace. The ABSN program must be crazy...I heard pharmacology class is only 5 weeks vs the regular semester.

Maybe we can make little study groups when school starts :)

Haha, yeah guys - the stories are true.. Pharmacology is 5 weeks only! I like the speed though, because I can hardly breathe it gives me less time to ruminate on how tired and stressed I am. The time goes by much quicker and you dont have the time to FEEL stressed? If you get what I mean.

I think had I been in the basic option all that free time would have ended up making me think I was more stressed. Haha, but I am wired strangely like that. Right now I am in Summer B which is Psych and Psych clinicals along with Fundamentals clinicals and I am loving it. PM me if you guys have any questions. :]

Hey! Well, no I dont work.. THANK GOD! I'm taking Theolgy and Bio-ethics now because in the spring I have to take another pre-req. I wish I would of taken all these pre-reqs before since it would allow me to just focus on my nursing classes but w/e. things happen for a reason. The Basic program shouldnt be that bad.. at least next summer we just only have clinicals. We have to form some kind of study groups carygt! Im still new to this so im not to sure how to p.m..

Asira: How do you like the program? The proffessors? School? Its true what your saying about the speed of the program but it must be intense. Anything with medicine is not a easy subject.
