Hi everyone! Just wanted to start a thread for those applying to the CRNA program at Barry University starting January 2016! Comments, Questions, Concerns, Advice...

Also, is anyone in Miami interested in starting a GRE study group?

I'm still waiting as well. I turned in my application at the end of April also. The anticipation is killing me. Just gotta have faith I guess...

Sure, 1.5 years mixed SICU/MICU, CCRN, GRE 309 (157 verbal, 152 quantitative), GPA 3.5. How about you?

Def. 2 years Med/Surg Acute Rehab. 2 years CVICU, CCRN, GRE was lacking (148, 148). GPA 3.5

What chemistry did you guys have? Also.. do you know how long they interview for? I'm wondering if I'm close to the last round or if there will still be locations open. I'm hoping for Tampa (if I get in). I'm kind of stressed b/c the chem I'll have to take is chem 1 which I hear they like orgo or biochem... can't quite take that without chem 1 lol

Congrats, guys! Anyone still waiting on a phone call? I applied at the end of April and I'm still waiting.

Also.. I got an interview just now and I applied in February or something. So it took quite some time for me to hear back.

I am taking Chem I this summer and they said the course is fine. Maybe someone else can speak to whether or not they like seeing higher level chemistry courses. I am sure it is a plus. I was told they would be interviewing through September or October.

I am still completing my file. Slowly but surely. Lol. I still need to take the GRE. I am going to do it this month. I wanted to try to squeeze in the CCRN too, but I may not have enough time. I almost gave up on applying but something in my heart just keeps telling me to push forward. If I don't get in this go round I am going to keep trying.

Good for you! If I don't get in this time around I'll apply again, along with USF. I'm taking my CCRN 1 day before my interview so we'll see how that goes lol

Is anyone else applying to the Orlando campus?? Do we interview in Miami?? Or does the Orlando campus hold it's own interviews?
