2 Years?, to answer your question.
 Did you apply?
My first  interviewed was yesterday with two clinical educator  and to be honest I was not  sure what to expect but there were clinical competency questions, at least 5 of them. Basically, the bases of the meeting with the educators was to ask these clinical questions. Not at all what I prepared for the interview. I answered questions the best of my ability and was told that recruit will be the one to reach out to me for next steps. Can you provide feedback or if anyone reading this post can provide feedback on the interview process and how did you prepare? I was totally thrown off yesterday and just want to who experienced this process to better prepare for second  interview?

Hey! I was just wondering, so you’re very first time interviewing with someone was yesterday with the clinical educators? Or did you also speak to a recruiter prior to yesterday’s interview?

I had a quick phone interview with a recruiter last week as well but it was a basic interview and she only asked me like "why nursing?" and "where I see myself in 5 years" but she let me know the dates for the specialty interviews and the med surg interview dates and told me I may be contacted for just one interview or several. She did not ask me to submit any of those things, I do not have my RN license yet, I plan to take it in February. I had filled out the regular residency application.

Hi! I was also told I may be contacted for one or more interviews after the 18th, but I have yet to hear back. Do you mind me asking what dates they told you regarding specialty and med surge interviews?

Hi so basically she told me the same dates that my friends who are part of scholars program have. They already started specialty interviews and from what I have heard they only mainly had spots in the ER and called people who put ER as first choice which I did not. I believe that med-surg/non-specialty interviews start after feb 1st but I'm not too sure. Are you a BSN graduate? Because I think the process is different for ADN graduates from what it seems like.

Yes, I’m a BSN graduate. The recruiter seemed pretty reassuring about being contacted for another interview. ER wasn’t my first choice, but I hope we do get an interview at some point. Nonetheless, I wish everyone the best of luck!! ?

Initially, a recruiter contacted me via email to forward documents ( copies of my transcript, BLS card, letter of intent and RN license) and the recruiter also contacted me via email to schedule my first interview. My first interview was via zoom with two clinical educators on Monday. I have a scheduled second interview via zoom next week with the unit managers.

Hope this helps!

Hi everyone!

I received a request today for a phone interview along with 50 other candidates. Not sure why I was contacted so late compared to everyone else on the thread? ? I was not in their scholar program but I have my BSN & my license. My first choice was pediatrics so maybe that's the reason? I had no interest in ER when I chose the specialties in the application. They are only hiring for medsurg positions??

Could someone give me some insight into what to expect in the upcoming weeks?! I have my phone interview next week and I'm nervous about what will be asked!

Good luck to everyone!

Hi everyone!

I first had a phone interview in the beginning of January and they told me the same thing about the dates that they will be calling ppl. I received a call from HR this Monday to schedule a zoom interview with the nurse managers for med-surg! I had originally put pediatrics and nicu as my top choices in specialty, but didn't get called for a specialty interview ?‍♀️  I have my BSN and RN license already as well. I was told Feb. 1st is the first day of med surg interviews, so if you havent been called, don't lose hope!

In regards to the phone interview, mine was rlly simple, the recruiter just asked why did I pursue nursing, where do I see myself in 3 years, and what would make me a good baptist nurse!

Good luck to everyone!! ?

@naaat11 Thank you! ?

MedSurg interviews begin the day I have my phone interview ? So not sure what's left at this point.

Do you mind me asking how soon after the phone interview did you receive a call to attend a zoom interview with the managers? In the phone interview were you told which units are hiring or which ones are left?

Best of Luck!! ?

I got the call for the zoom interview two weeks after my phone interview! And she didn't say what units were hiring or whats left, just that they will be conducting zoom interviews for the next few weeks after Jan. 18 and to not be discouraged if they don't call right away. Hope this helps ?

Wishing you the best!!

Oh okay so I still have hope!

Thank you so much! I appreciate the response ?

I wonder if it also depends on the hospital ( baptist main, south miami, doctors, etc)

Maybe! I never thought of that. I chose Baptist Main as top choice not sure if everyone else on here chose the same.
