Baptist Health Fall 2020 Nurse Residency (South Florida)

Did anyone apply to Baptist Health's Nurse Residency Program?? The application was only open for like a week.. I applied about a week ago as soon as I saw it! I believe they said the start date was September 28th.

I spoke to HR in Homestead and he said we should be getting called this week or next week but I do know the scholars are interviewing this week

I've applied everywhere as well..and have not heard back or been denied. I've applied to Memorial Healthcare nurse residency, mount sinai miami beach residency, Baptist residency,HCA residency, UM, Cleveland clinic... at this point I'm running out of options! I went to school out of state so that's probably hurting my chances as well ugh

Haha I went to school here (Nova) and I’m on the same boat. I didn’t apply to memorial or Cleveland because when it opened I wasn’t trying to drive an hour away (clearly I’ll take anything now). Mount Sinai I applied twice and got rejected twice but my friend got in.

what does HCA say for you? I got a ‘under consideration’ email but I check the site and it says no longer under consideration.

I’m worried, I graduated in Dec and nothing.

So weird.. I got the under consideration email as well and then it changed to no longer under consideration. Now my application status says "complete" again. However in their email I noticed it did say this:

PLEASE NOTE: When viewing your online submission, the following status “Not Under Consideration” may not accurately reflect your current step in our process.

So I'm sure it means nothing. I just expected to hear back by now!

I graduated in Dec too

My friend applied to regular non-residency jobs, lots of rejections but finally got hired at Holtz...

I'm going to start applying too ??‍♀️ just in case

It makes me nervous that you guys graduated in December and are still searching? I graduated in May. IDK why I thought it wasn't going to take TOO long to find a job.

I didn't start applying until now but everyone in my cohort have jobs.. also this was before pandemic.. now hospitals don't have the same resources $$$ as before
