  1. Hello! I wanted to know if the full time BSN-DNP program is doable while keeping a full time bedside nursing job? Is anyone here doing that or know people that have or if they typically go part time? I’m looking into doing the full time psych BSN-DNP program. Thank you
  2. Yea I guess it's different for everybody because no educator has reached out to me and I'm from main.
  3. Tomorrow we only have the modules and no zoom meeting correct? And Tuesday the zoom is from 1-5pm. I'm not a scholar btw, I think their schedule is different.
  4. I have yet to receive the offer letter or anything else. I was called by HR on Thursday with the job offer and she told me that somebody else was going to call me regarding other information on either Friday or Monday but I have yet to receive the call.
  5. I interviewed with West Kendall last week and now have an interview with baptist main, some of you have put some of the questions they asked, but are there any other questions that I should be ready for for the Baptist main interview. Thank you
  6. I had my west Kendall interview yesterday and I did not interview for baptist main so I cannot compare them but yes they asked me these same questions yesterday and a few others, one was sort of about working with different members of the healthcare team and they also asked me about a skill during clinicals that I was not comfortable doing at first. They did not really tell me when they would get back to me regarding whether or not I got the job but at the end of my interview one of them said that HR will call me so I'm not sure if that is a good sign. For anybody that interviewed at west kendall do you guys know when we should know the decision? I am not an internal transfer so I'm sure it takes some more time because spots might be limited for us.
  7. I have mine tomorrow and I asked what department and basically the different med-surg floors that are hiring will be at the interview. I had put west-kendall as my first choice so I believe that is why they called me for an interview for west kendall.
  8. I have an interview for West Kendall Med-surg on Friday. If anyone has already had an interview and knows any potential questions they may ask, let me know
  9. Hi so basically she told me the same dates that my friends who are part of scholars program have. They already started specialty interviews and from what I have heard they only mainly had spots in the ER and called people who put ER as first choice which I did not. I believe that med-surg/non-specialty interviews start after feb 1st but I'm not too sure. Are you a BSN graduate? Because I think the process is different for ADN graduates from what it seems like.
  10. I had a quick phone interview with a recruiter last week as well but it was a basic interview and she only asked me like "why nursing?" and "where I see myself in 5 years" but she let me know the dates for the specialty interviews and the med surg interview dates and told me I may be contacted for just one interview or several. She did not ask me to submit any of those things, I do not have my RN license yet, I plan to take it in February. I had filled out the regular residency application.
  11. Hi! I wanted to know what kind of questions they asked you. Also what was your first choice for specialty? Because some of my friends got interviewed for ER yesterday and today but they are part of the scholars program and they had chosen ER as their first choice and were supposedly calling people who had chosen that as first choice because they are mainly hiring people for ER, I do not know if they need for ICU. I had put critical care as my first choice.
  12. Anyone got accepted to the baptist scholarship?
  13. Thank you for offering your help!! Nova offered me 2,500 per semester of subsidized loans and 1,000 of unsubsidized loans per semester but unless I get the baptist scholarship this is not enough loans to cover my tuition, so I wanted to know if they offered you more later on or if you received any scholarships and such?
