Banner Nurse Fellows Program

I interviewed for the nurse fellows program through Banner about three weeks ago and still haven't heard anything! I was talking to another girl there for an interview who said that her friend (I know, I know, don't listen to anything like this, but I can't help it!) got a call a week after her interview offering her a slot. Has anyone else interviewed and heard anything?

I don't know why I'm so freaking out about it. I'm already accepted into Mesa to start in January (I deferred) but I WANT TO GET INTO THIS!

patientlywaiting08--I thought I would give you my scores on the net so you could compare. I was accepted into the Banner program at EMCC. I had a late interview on Monday the 31st of Aug. and had an acceptance email on Tuesday the 1st of Sept. My math skills on the net was 97 and reading comp was 70. I scored a 45 on the predicting outcomes portion, 80 on the inferential and 86 on the main idea. My composite final score was 84 and my standard score overall was 986. I have a 3.824 GPA and I don't have any health care experience for the last essay question. Hope this helps----Kelli

BFhopeful-- No I haven't received anything for the EMCC cohort. I check everyday like a child waiting for a present LOL. I just got accepted on Sept. 1 and it is driving me crazy waiting. I hope it comes soon I would like to know what stuff I need to buy. I assume you haven't received yours? ---Kelli

i volunteer thursday mornings at banner desert from 8am-noon so unfortunately, i won't be able to make it..

AZ GIRL13--I had a late interview and my date for the interview was August 31. I found out I was accepted on Tuesday Sept.1 by email. I originally applied for the Banner program starting in March because it was past the dead line for the Oct cohort but they called and asked if I wanted to interview for EMCC Oct. cohort. ---Kelli

Congrats on getting accepted. So you are going to be in the EMCC cohort? Two of us are going to meet on Friday Sept 18th at Starbucks on Bell and Grand Ave in Suprise if you are able to make it at 10 am. Let me know.

Melina I will be there at 10 am. I am not familiar with that area so if I take the 101 should I exit grand or bell? I live in Goodyear and have no idea where that starbucks is. Is the 303 to far? There are so many Starbucks these days I would probably go to the wrong one. Thanks--Kelli

I would love to be able to meet you guys, however, I have company in town this week and next week whom have traveled a great distance. Since my husband is at work during the day, I will be entertaining. Please let me in on the next one. :wink2:

You are correct regarding the school packet. I have not recieved one yet. I am been waiting since mid August, ever since I sent in my contact. Hopefully we will receieve it soon.

I would take the 101 north and exit on Grand. Drive West and there is a Starbucks on the corner of Bell and Grand behind the Bank of America. It will be about 5 miles down the from the exit. I really look forward to meeting you. Wendy said she will be wearing black and white. I wear glasses and am on the chunky side.lol.
