Why don't you just read the chart?
If only ER nurses documented enough for me to just look at the chart. Until IVs, meds given, assesments are fully documented questions will continue to asked. I work in a neuro ICU, every patient needs to be on a cardiac monitor and a full neuro assessment needs to be completed, there is obviously a reason why they need to be in intensive care. Questions are asked based on the floor nurse's desire to fully understand the situation and care that needs to be administered.

Kelli The reading assignments are in the syllabus which is posted in blackboard. I read chapters 1 and 4. They are really boring. This book reads like a dictionary. Going to get my drug test today and maybe my Banner Badge. See you Monday bright and early.

It is really hard to say what they look for. I applied with a 3.6 GPA and got a 100 on my math and an 80 on reading. I was told that I lost two points because of my GPA and my score on the Predicting outcomes. I think your experience could help but I do not know if they look at that because I have no healthcare experience and was still accepted. I think that if you get an interview just try and relax and be yourself and answer the questions from the heart. Good Luck.
