Banner Nurse Fellows Program

I interviewed for the nurse fellows program through Banner about three weeks ago and still haven't heard anything! I was talking to another girl there for an interview who said that her friend (I know, I know, don't listen to anything like this, but I can't help it!) got a call a week after her interview offering her a slot. Has anyone else interviewed and heard anything?

I don't know why I'm so freaking out about it. I'm already accepted into Mesa to start in January (I deferred) but I WANT TO GET INTO THIS!

I applied for the July start and they start interviews next month. I turned in my application the first week in February and they called me last week to schedule an interview which is in mid March. From what I got at the meeting interviews last from March to mid april and notification is sometime in May. :nuke:

I put in my application in Jan 07 for the Jul and Oct 07 cohorts. I will wait to see if I get a phone call. I better check my old answering machine for old messages, I just recently got a new machine. Checked & that was a fat goose egg. Oh well.

I just got accepted in to Estrella Mountain CC for the fall of 08, it's not part of the Banner program, but I just wanted to see if anyone else got an email today???

Congrats! One of my coworkers got accepted to the regular program and then got accepted to BNFP as well. Banner program got her in faster.

how long was your wait? i applied in oct 2007 - i am assuming another year's wait.

Thank you for the congrats!! I applied in Mar '07, so it was just shy of a years wait to get accepted.

question for the prior cohorts.

i would have sworn that i was told you wear your uniforms everyday and that you could wear white pants instead of the caribbean blue pants.

in orientation today they did say that white pants are no longer allowed, they also said that we only had to wear uniforms on clinical days.

did i hallucinate the everyday requirement? does anybody wear them everyday anyway?

I just finished block 1 at Gateway. We just wear uniforms on clinical days. There was also a photo day and a simulation day at Gateway that we had to wear them. You guys might be different though.
