Banner Nurse Fellows Program

I interviewed for the nurse fellows program through Banner about three weeks ago and still haven't heard anything! I was talking to another girl there for an interview who said that her friend (I know, I know, don't listen to anything like this, but I can't help it!) got a call a week after her interview offering her a slot. Has anyone else interviewed and heard anything?

I don't know why I'm so freaking out about it. I'm already accepted into Mesa to start in January (I deferred) but I WANT TO GET INTO THIS!

Any advice on extern-ships. What do you mean by "staying within your scope of practice"?

I am just about to go into block 2 of the Banner program and I am keen to extern. Hopefully somewhere I can learn a lot of basic nursing skills.

Apply for whatever you are interested in...and learn all you can. But if the rules say "no passing meds" - follow the rules.

I'm not sure how far north Cherlee is - what about somewhere close to a major highway. Would the Mills Mall area at I10 and Baseline be in the middle? It would be about 25-30 minutes for me.

Cherlee - maybe you have a suggestion?

I am at 1-17 and Peoria area... That would probably be about 25-30 min also for me. (so thats halfway for both of us) as long as its earlier in the day so we dont hit that rush hour traffic .. around 12:30 ish.. are we going to meet at like starbucks or something in the mall? I have only been to that mall once? or is there one around there?

there is a starbucks in az mills mall. it is at the far south end. it is very close to last call from neiman marcus.

this works great for me if it is good for both of you.

i know gonnagetthere has some time restraints. i am open and looking forward to meeting you both.

12:30 could work for me - I will work on getting someone to watch my 4 year old, or I could do morning at 9:15-9:30?
