  1. not sure. i will try to find the paper work if i didn't throw it out. the price was just a turn off. they do encourage you to transfer in credits to decrease the cost. the counselor also mentioned that at that time there was no waiting list.
  2. It was closer to 50K when I went about a month ago.
  3. would you mind PMing and letting me know what teacher you had? I take classes at GCC.
  4. They call it block 0, 1, 2. Block 1 and 2 are the same as the regular nursing program not sure what blcok 0 entails. It's 13 months.
  5. They totally screwed up my financial aid and all the sudden can't make my info hit in their new system. I have completed financial aid since Feb. I am so upset. They are unorganized and unreliable. There is nothing I can do so now I have to find alternative school plans.
  6. Would you mind PMing me the name of the company? Let me know how it works out.
  7. Unfortunately not. But I am starting a phlebotomy program in the fall so I know I will eventually get in. Like before I kept being offered admin positions that were not offering any flexibilty. How about you?
  8. If you don't mind me asking, have they not given you any info on your loans yet? Or the info they have given you is a bit shady? I know they lady there is not doing her job and a lot of people are waiting for aid info and classes are starting Aug 8th. It kinda sucks they don't have this info together for students.
  9. So How is your program so far?
  10. How was the HESI if you don't mind me asking.
  11. How was the HESI if you don't mind me asking.
  12. I feel like they are wishy washy with their info on the Gateway LPN program. Everything is maybe, might, could be yada yada yada making it hard to plan around. I had the same thoughts as you about the Skill Center especially about the money and figured I would try Gateway but no one can give me a straight answer. If you weren't really feeling the Skill Center I would say don't go. But know that you are waiting in the wings on Gateway's terms. Good Luck!
  13. If you don't mind me asking where did you do your clinicals?
  14. Sorry to hear that. Maybe next go round.
  15. I go T and Th from 7-1 for the first 3 weeks and the remaining 5 are 630-1 T-W-TH for labs and clinicals. I would pick a cna program as soon a possible because once they start accepting applications at gateway for that lpn program seats are going to go fast as they dont have many for "regular " people. I think most seats go to company sponsored students. I was lucky to get into glendale's cna program. I would also love to go to these places that have a program that's only 2-3 weeks too but I just can't afford the type of money they charge. I got financial aid for this so that was another benefit.
