I interviewed for the nurse fellows program through Banner about three weeks ago and still haven't heard anything! I was talking to another girl there for an interview who said that her friend (I know, I know, don't listen to anything like this, but I can't help it!) got a call a week after her interview offering her a slot. Has anyone else interviewed and heard anything?
I don't know why I'm so freaking out about it. I'm already accepted into Mesa to start in January (I deferred) but I WANT TO GET INTO THIS!
question for the prior cohorts.
i would have sworn that i was told you wear your uniforms everyday and that you could wear white pants instead of the caribbean blue pants.
in orientation today they did say that white pants are no longer allowed, they also said that we only had to wear uniforms on clinical days.
did i hallucinate
the everyday requirement? does anybody wear them everyday anyway?
thanks for your time:thankya:
we just wear our scrubs on our lab and clinical days. your shoes need to be all white (although a lot of us just wore regular tennies in lab and saved the white shoes for clinical). i'm glad that the uniforms are all one color - white scrub pants aren't that flattering!!!

maybe not on you, but they are on some of us:p
Anyone have interviews this week?
I had mine today.....mannnnnn I hate interviews. I got all nervous and forgot to stress that I can handle the workload. They said they will be interviewing through May and will send out letters then. Crossing fingers.
Good luck to all of you with upcoming interviews and recently passed interviews.
OMG, I love that picture!!! That's exactly what I felt like!!!! They were pretty nice, but it was intimidating. I am not, by nature, a boastful person. So, interviews, make me really uncomfortable. Any job that I have, I do what's expected and many times I do more. Geeez, I hate dog/pony shows.
I love your encouragement though, thanks alot.
I thought the interview was HORRIBLE and I even did competitive interviewing in high school. I was so sure I hadn't made it into the program that I started packing boxes to move back home. When I got the letter of acceptance, I was surprised and had to start unpacking.
Good luck and hopefully the wait will fly by for you. Time seems to stand still between the interview and the letter.
