Banner Fellows October cohorts

Hey all,

I know this is probably a stab in the dark, but thought I'd try. Any other Banner Fellows on here who have had to deal with Financial Aid? Gateway is telling me that for Block III, which starts in July for our cohort (X) we won't get our aid until SEPTEMBER since it's considered an early fall class. I don't know what I'm going to do! Anyone else dealt with this?

How much do the uniforms run? so we wont start class the day of orientation. Darn.. guess im excited to start..LOL ... I hear lots of reading.. and what do you like better long term are clinicals or acute care? do you go directly to clinicals or to class then clinicals? do you get to choose from a few or do you just buddy up?

Clinicals are seperate full days so far. 6.45am till 3pm ish.

Some people have afternoons though.

My uniform was around $45. Plus you need all white shoes. Show your student ID for a discount.

azscot, so youve started clinicals? we haven't, we dont start til returning from xmas break, plus we don't have a ltc portion, we only have hospitals, which is nice :).

Ltc has actually been quite interesting. A good learning experience.

So I take it you are both different cohorts.... Azscot you are heading to block 2 correct?? what block are you heading in cursed irishman.??

You started the same time but are doing 2 different things. Do they breakup the 30 students in the class?

and the uniforms arent part of what Banner pays for. it says books, supplies and tuition.

I am only 1/2 way thru block 1. Cursed Irishman is at a different college than me. I'm at Gateway. I think we started aat the same time though.

How does the scheduling work with clinicals and classes? When we start in March, we will have class Mon thru Thurs. Are clinicals Fri - Sat - Sun?
