Banner Fellows October cohorts

Hey all,

I know this is probably a stab in the dark, but thought I'd try. Any other Banner Fellows on here who have had to deal with Financial Aid? Gateway is telling me that for Block III, which starts in July for our cohort (X) we won't get our aid until SEPTEMBER since it's considered an early fall class. I don't know what I'm going to do! Anyone else dealt with this?

to everyone who got in to the banner fellows program,

what did you guys answer on the question, "why do you want to work for banner?"

give 2 reasons you would like to work for banner health

there are many reasons why i have chosen banner, one being i have interacted with other banner employees in my current position that are friendly and very knowledge in what they are doing. this shows me banner takes the time to train their employees which creates a positive, productive work environment and helps to retain valued employees. another reason is the opportunities banner has, the many different hospitals in your network which would allow me room for advancement throughout the years with your company.

6:45- 3:30 pm makes for a very very long day on wednesday and thursday.. but at least getting there we will beat the traffic rush.. I hope leaving at like 5:45 in the morning..

I have never heard of a class at college being that early.

You usually have classes Mon/Tues or Wed/Thurs. The other two days are clinical days.

Does anyone remember the name of the fantastic lady who does the information sessions at Gateway? She is a Banner employee...Annamarie? Annamaria?

When did you interview? I interviewed last week and I am now playing the waiting game myself. I was so very nervous and I am unsure of my responses, due to my nerves.... But, I was told they are interviewing until mid August... So, my thought is that we may end up waiting for a WHILE until we hear. :banghead:

But, I enjoyed the opportunity to interview and I just hope that I showed them who I am as a person during that interview ~ that was my main goal. Everyone on the panel seem so nice.

WITH THE INTERVIEW, WHAT WERE THE QUESTIONS MAINLY FOCUSED ON?

I HEARD THEIR MISSION STATEMENT IS SOMETHING THEY USE IN THE INTERVIEW PROCESS.

Just to let you know....

I interviewed last August for the October '08 program and didn't find out until the end of August that I was accepted. They usually interview up 'til mid-August, so it may be awhile for you to hear back! :D good luck to you!
