I have an interview on Tuesday with Banner.... I'm wondering if it is still for the October cohort or not. Any thoughts? How many people were in both of your groups for interviews? And, is the October cohort just for Gateway?

I Think it should still be for October with what I've heard people saying. Supposedly they are doing interviews through the middle of this month. They wouldn't tell us how many people they were interviewing, or even how many applications they had received. I think it's because the numbers can be discouraging. I am pretty sure that there are two cohorts for October, and I think that the other one is Estrella Mountain but I am not positive. Good luck with your interview! Let us know if you hear any updates about when letters are going out.

The reject letters were mailed late last week (I got mine!) so I guess no news is good news at this point. Wish you the best!!
Hi, and thanks for the information. When did you get the unfortunate news, this week or last? Thanks

MassagetoRN, I am sorry to hear that you didn't get accepted!!! Keep your chin up, your time will come!!!
The letter arrived on Friday or Saturday. I have had alot of dealings with this Banner program application process. They do have a very secretive point ranking system. They look at GPA, NET, and even the short answer questions on your application. I am going to apply 1 more time with my ASU NET scores which are a bit higher. Hope that helps everyone!

Hey I just saw this and I was wondering what it was. Is it through school or the hostpital? did you guys take all that tests and pre-reqs? Thanks :)
MassagetoRN sorry to hear about that. Good luck with applying again. Eventually you will get into a program so keep with it.
Hi, goto Gateway Community College's website. Look up Nursing programs and they have all the information there. The Banner Nurse Fellows is through a community college. You still need all of the same prerequisites that you would need to get into nursing school. The difference with this program is that there is no waiting list, Banner will pay for the nursing program, in return you have to work for a Banner hospital for 3 years. Thats the gist of it.
