10 Banned Foods Americans Should Stop Eating – Infographic

Take a look at the link above. Why do you think the US doesn't follow suite like the rest of the other countries? Are they really, like a lot of people are believing, trying to de-populate this country through our food? If so, how sinister.

I'll tone down what I was going to say and just go with: mercola.com lacks credibility.

Mercola.com. That's all I need to know. I don't take health advice from anti-vaxers.

Anti vaxers? How strange and judgemental sounding. The CDC states the Flu vaccine is 23% effective, and you get a dose of mercury. I choose not to vaccinate. I will wash my hands, avoid crowds, eat healthy non gmo food, use my colloidal silver spray if I get a sniffle. I choose to stay as far away from Glycosphate as possible. If Monsanto is proud of it, then they can label it. And...so far, so good.

What else do you call someone who advocates against vaccines?

I looked at the list, and there is veracity to several of the things listed. Brominated foods have greatly contributed to thyroid problems in the west since it was started. It used to be that iodine was used to process flour. Bromide is now the standard, and it's an element that competes with iodine for receptor sites in the thyroid gland and is more aggressive. Read the article below. Fluoride in water does the same thing, they are all in the same family. This is not junk science.

I also strongly agree with the dangers of BVO in foods. That is also a bromide based product. Soft drinks, generally, are serious threats to health, they are high in sugar and chemicals, there is nothing good in them.

My contention is that the U.S. is waiting on some scientific evidence to support claims before acting rather than knee-jerk responding to pseudoscience.

And, honestly, do you think "a lot of people" believe that "they" are trying to depopulate by food?

I certainly don't think it's an effort to depopulate, LOL! That's a silly claim.

However, corporate might in the United States is more influential. The food industry is powerful, the chemical industry as well. They have so much influence on the government! The American public has a terrible diet. Agribusiness has bought up vast amounts of land, pushing out family farmers. Seed companies have patents on seeds, making farmers dependent on them, and limiting biodiversity. This leaves us open to a catastrophe like what happened in the Irish Potato famine, when the potato crop failed.

Europe has a better diet, is less controlled by the forces I mention. People are healthier there. Also, conditions for farm animals is more humane.

anymore responses?? I have my opinion, as you may know, but it will be lengthy. Get ready.. Been out a couple days on a job interview, got it on the spot, and it's paying unexpected GREAT MONEY for a new grad in the MICU. Who thought a small hospital could shell out money like that. It's better than the pay for new grads in the medical center here in Houston. I give all praises to THE MOST HIGH for this!! It has been a journey to say the least. FINALLY, it is paying off. But I've been in this industry for too long to think back,:lol2:!! I'll post my response in a couple of days. I want to see more valid responses with research based information to either refute or add to the claim presented in the article posted. Ofcourse, there will not be a blatent claim for the de-population belief, but when information trends in a certain direction over and over, it makes you wonder. See you on this topic in a few days. Let's get some more holistic stances.

The USA ranks very poorly on health outcomes when compared to other industrialized nations, despite spending the most on health care. We clearly aren't doing some right and I think a large part of that comes down to diet. There are huge economic and political forces at play when it comes to the Big Food industry and their ties with the FDA and other government agencies. For many of these banned foods, the science IS there. For some of them (such as GMOs), the science is still evolving, but I would rather play it safe than participate in a large, population-based experiment.

It is also worth mentioning that the Agricultural and Big Food industry closely controls the science that is done and published on certain topics (i.e. GMOs). A lack of clear evidence doesn't necessarily qualm my concerns. When it comes to messing with nature, I'm not sure why it is safe to presume that humans can do it better.

I would call them well informed.

I am not an "anti vaxer". I choose to not vaccinate. It is a personal choice. You can do what you wish. My body belongs to me. This is about medical choice.
