I'm applying for APU's ELM program for Spring 2017 and I was curious to see who else was applying :) maybe we could chat about the application process!

Hey @professionalgal! I just saw your comment and the class isn't showing as being open anymore :/ I signed up to take in through Azusa Pacific University College, but it was expensive!

Aww man it is so expensive through the APU online í ½í¸© I almost registered for that same class until i saw it was being offered at Crafton Hills. If you would like, i can email my professor and ask him if you can still register.

Hi everyone just curious do you know the cost of the BSN portion of the program? I did the math and I'm coming up with 47k is this about right?

Also, I don't have any Healthcare experience yet, but my gpa is above 3.0.I'm trying to get all As in my sciences *pray for me*..Just curious if you think applying without the health care experience would hurt me and if yall would suggest waiting until I get experience to apply.?

Hi Kim! I think when I went to the information session they stated that the BSN portion and the MSN portion are each around $40,000. Those are just estimates though...I haven't done the math haha.

I wouldn't put off applying until you get healthcare experience, BUT I would suggest that you get some experience before you start. Getting healthcare experience really soldified my career choice for me because I knew I was going to enjoy it haha. When you're applying though, healthcare experience counts for the same amount of points as any other volunteer experience. So having it would help, but it's not a deal breaker.

Thank you for your reply. Very sweet of you to offer words of advice. I start volunteering at a hospital this weekend, I just doubt I'll have 500 hours lol by the time application deadline rolls around lol. But you're totally right I'm very excited about this weekend it will definitely deal the deal for me!

Thank you for the information about the cost of the program. I am looking into a few and knowing a price point helps. Since I'm funding it myself lol. .. APU is an awesome program I hear tons of good things about it! I'm sure it's worth the price. *Fingers crossed*I get in.

Would you mind PM -ing the point system I was unaware they had one too! Just like all the colleges in California I guess.

I was just accepted for the main campus ELM program for Summer 2017 too. I just wanted to ask if you know anything about cost or the way the schedules for classes work the first semester. Thanks!

I was accepted to the Spring 2017 cohort in the main campus. I was wondering if anyone has received any information regarding loans and class registration? I am really excited about this program, I want to make sure I complete everything in a timely manner.
