Hi all!
I'm applying for APU's ELM program for Spring 2017 and I was curious to see who else was applying :) maybe we could chat about the application process!

Hello, I am also applying, I am surprised that more applicants have not responded to your post. How is everything going with your application?
Hello! I was just wondering how it was possible that no one has responded to my post when I got the notification that you posted :)
So far, so good with my application. I submitted everything at the beginning of February, but two of my letters of recommendation did not make it to Azusa until last week. I came home to small envelope from APU today and my immediate thought was that I had been rejected already haha. But it was just a letter notifying me that my application was complete and would begin being reviewed. How is your application going?
Same here, I have everything submitted as well, now just waiting. I applied to the Inland Empire Campus, what about you?
I applied to the main campus in Azusa. It's about 30 minutes from my house, but it's still the closest campus. What did you major in for your undergrad?
Nice! I majored and Child and Adolescent Studies for my undergrad. I explained how this degree would be beneficial in becoming a pediatric nurse practitioner in my letter to the dean.
The deadline is tomorrow, I wish we would find out something sooner rather than later!!
Oh awesome! That sounds interesting. I'm hoping to become a family nurse practitioner; I think I would like to work in either in emergency medicine or dermatology.
I know! I can't wait to find out!

Hey everyone. Yeah, I am pretty surprise that not many people responded, but I submitted my application about a week ago.
I actually called the Graduate Admissions Office cause I had a few questions about my transcripts, but they just told me that applications have extended until March 15th. Hmm, I wonder why!
Oh, really? How interesting. I wonder if it's because not as many people applied this period...or it could be the exact opposite and they're overloaded with applications haha. Either way, that works out better for me! I can't request a transcript from one of my schools until March 5th because final grades haven't posted yet. I'm happy to know that I have a little leeway now.
What at campus did you apply for?
Haha, I hope it's for the reason that they do not have enough applicants for this cycle. I wanted to ask why, but felt like it would have been just an awkward question considering I am applying for that cycle.
I applied to the main campus in Azusa. Not from Southern California, but been to LA a couple of times and liked it a lot! They said we most likely won't hear from them until after March 15th or towards the end of March to set up interviews and what not.
Yeah, that might have been a bit awkward if they didn't just volunteer the information to you.
Oh perfect! I applied to the Azusa campus as well. Where are you from? I'm glad they told you when we can expect to be contacted. I applied around a month ago and I've already started getting anxious about hearing back haha.

I applied too! Do you know when we should hear back? I live in Chicago so the sooner the better! Best of luck everyone!
