I was wondering if anybody has signed up with AVANT HEALTHCARE PROFFESIONALS, a USA based agency for NURSES and PTs, which currently sponsors NCLEX-passers. Any updates with your application?

I have started this thread thinking we could update on the process that you are undergoing since US visa bulletin is fast moving.

For those who signed up with AVANT, please. Share your experience with them here.

Thank you!

It was a bit different with me, they asked for my transcripts, right after that, next step is taking toefl ibt, since i am paying for it i want to make sure i will do it in the first attempt. I am fully bilingual, but i am working with the academic part (on national tests i got 96% or nearly native speaker), however, i want to be on the safe side. The score i need is 90 overall and 26+ in speaking, hard but not impossible. I appreciate your comment since it provides more information on the process.

Hello there, I'm a Filipino Nurse too, currently practicing in the Philippines. If my memory serves me right, I think the online presentation is basically an introductory/ orientation video of what Avant is.

Hello fellow nurses, I'm a Filipino RN working in the Philippines. I have signed up with Avant and has been in close contact with them since February this year. Is there anyone here who's taking the NCLEX on December 3, 2016? Are you guys ready? Haha, how are you taking it? I'm almost done with PHASE 2, I only need to answer one more CTFL exam and comprehensive exam. My test scores are ok (ranging from 75-79%). When I got my schedule and one of them called me, I asked them if they think I'm ready for NCLEX, they said without any hesitation YES. So basically I'm just counting down to my test date. I hope everything goes well.

hi mikee! i will be entering the phase 2 soon! how was it?its an intense review right? especially if you are juggling among work review and family! but avant is the best:)

Hello there Kisheen. I think you and my friend follow the same schedule. :p You're right, it's challenging but I'm more excited to take the NCLEX now. It is indeed an intense review and hopefully, it yields to a good result for me. :p Goodluck on your review. I hope the next time I post in this thread is the time when I would gladly tell everyone my test result. :p

Hmmm took the NCLEX RN yesterday (December 3). My test stopped at 75 and I got a lot of SATA (as early as item #6). There were multiple times when I was getting 5-7 straight SATA questions until my test ended. I am more anxious now than ever to see the result. If my instinct was right, I would get a PASSED result. I think, AVANT's review program for NCLEX RN prepared me well for the test because the actual exam never freaked me out not even once.

The comprehensive exam in Phase 2, I think was harder than the real exam.

Hey, you can do the Pearson Vue trick as early as now to check if you passed!

I tried it multiple times already and it wouldn't let me re-register. :p If it's accurate, then that would mean that I passed, but of course I would still wait for the official result.

Congrats in advance! The trick is actually working for both US and UK NMC computer-based test. The latter is more direct stating "scheduling of exam is not allwed for successful candidate. The applicant has already passed the exam..." something like that. lol. For as long as it is Pearson Vue, I think thats how their system works. Btw, what state are u applying for?

Yay, thanks. Well, Avant registered me for the State of Texas.
