  1. Hello to everyone! Well, I'm a Mexican nurse I the middle of my process to get att, and one of the requisites is a CRP format (license registration). I am supposed to ask to secretariat of public education to fill it up, unfortunately, wherever I try, they send me to another window/office. Are there any Mexican nurses here who can give some word of advice? Thank you!
  2. I am currently beginning my process. I passed both screening exams, interview and next week I will take clinical assessment. My question is, to all avant nurses currently working in the usa. Can you make a living as an agency nurse? I'm taking my wife and kids with me. Thanks in advance. Pd: I am a surgical nurse (specialist).
  3. It was a bit different with me, they asked for my transcripts, right after that, next step is taking toefl ibt, since i am paying for it i want to make sure i will do it in the first attempt. I am fully bilingual, but i am working with the academic part (on national tests i got 96% or nearly native speaker), however, i want to be on the safe side. The score i need is 90 overall and 26+ in speaking, hard but not impossible. I appreciate your comment since it provides more information on the process.
  4. I'll go with toefl, i do not like Ielts structure and i am more familiar with american english (92% in local english tests), i am from Mexico, so hands down, i it like more. I gave it some serious thought and made up my mind, so i am currently studying academic english and reviewing the speaking part. Besides, there is no Ielts centers in my town and i would have to travel to a faraway city in order to take it, it is a lot of money in hotel, plane tickets and incidentals.
  5. Congratulations!!! Hope to learn more about your process !! Did u take toefl or ielts??
  6. I am currently preparing for toefl, for visacreen purposes i need a 26 in speaking and 83 overall. I am fluent in english but i have noticed that in toefl it's all about academic terms so i am practicing before i take it, just to be in the safe side.
  7. They asked me for my transcript, i just sent it, it seems i have enough hours hands down, but u never know. First thing i took their screening exam, then they asked me for my transcript, i have not taken toefl and i have to send my transcript to CGFNS (they wanted to make sure i qualify before i spend all that money). I am waiting for directions at the moment.
  8. Hi! Could u care to explain what kind of documents did they ask u for? I just applied, took the screening exam and sent my resume. I am a mexican nurse so i haven't taken any test. They said they will schedule an interview.
