I was wondering if anybody has signed up with AVANT HEALTHCARE PROFFESIONALS, a USA based agency for NURSES and PTs, which currently sponsors NCLEX-passers. Any updates with your application?

I have started this thread thinking we could update on the process that you are undergoing since US visa bulletin is fast moving.

For those who signed up with AVANT, please. Share your experience with them here.

I an from Nigeria, I am with avant .so far avant have not failed on their promises . they prepared me from phase one through to 3 .sent me books and mp3 lecture's.They paid all expanses to and fro Indian where I sat for Nclex on 7th of Oct.I PASSED AT 75 questions. waiting for the next step!!!

Hmmm took the NCLEX RN yesterday (December 3). My test stopped at 75 and I got a lot of SATA (as early as item #6). There were multiple times when I was getting 5-7 straight SATA questions until my test ended. I am more anxious now than ever to see the result. If my instinct was right, I would get a PASSED result. I think, AVANT's review program for NCLEX RN prepared me well for the test because the actual exam never freaked me out not even once.

The comprehensive exam in Phase 2, I think was harder than the real exam.

I got my unofficial result for the NCLEX RN exam today through pearsonvue quick result and it says PASSED! The trick worked! ahaha. Thank you Avant!

Congratulations!!!! I'm so happy for you. Apart from the saunders and the Illustrated Study guide, What other books did you use? Aw is the real exam compared to the practice tests? u said u had lots of SATA questions... i thought dose were suppose to be hard? Can you relive your practice experience compared to the real exam to us. It will help some of us coming behind you. thank you. What is your advise for us. Thank you.

Honestly, I felt really at ease when I realized that the NCLEX Exam questions are not as weird or as hard as I thought they were. At first I was anxious thinking that I might get all those out of this world questions but I didn't. I realized that Phase 2 Comprehensive exam is a lot harder than the real NCLEX Exam. I didn't read any other books. I just used all the books Avant sent me. Illustrated guide is a big help for content review if you need a refresher for nursing concepts. Nursing made insanely easy was helpful in remembering salient and important points regarding each concepts. I seriously didn't like the Pharmacology Made Easy book, I went back to the Pharmacology section of the Illustrated guide for Pharma topics. How to Pass NCLEX 101 and Strategies in NCLEX RN (Kaplan) were great books as well. I read them from cover to cover and took all the practice exams including the pre and post test and the comprehensive exams to simulate the real NCLEX exam.

Hi, I am a nurse from Iran. I would like to help me for moving to USA as a nurse what do I do? I've taken IELTS general exam and got overall score 7. Is it ok or I have to take Academic one? Is it possible to pass nclex before going? Which company do you recommend to apply through it to help me? I would be very thankful if anybody guides me.

Hello there. Academic IELTS might be required before you can take NCLEX but that depends on whether your nursing subjects' and text books language is English or not. Try searching for Avant Healthcare Professionals in face book. There's a link there that would allow you to sign up. After that, wait for an email correspondence from them for further instructions.

I have then been given links to upload my documents including forms for the referees which has been done. I was told my documents will be moved to CREDENTIALING OFFICE. After this, what is the next process? and when will nclex review program actually start? thanks

The timeline could be different for you but in my case, I completed all the requirements in April and received a confirmation that my documents were sent to the document controller for safekeeping. I had to wait until the last week of June before I was asked to secure documents for CGFNS and simultaneously, I received my review materials. My nclex review started in July.

I think so. In the Philippines, a BSN degree is a requirement before you could sit for a local board. Earning a local license allows you to practice as staff nurse in any hospitals. Avant requires that you gain at least 3 years of continuous bedside practice before joining them.

Congrats MikeeMikes! I also signed a contract with Avant and currently on Phase 2 of the Review Program. They emailed me a time table showing an approximate date of my NCLEX exam which is on 3/7/2017 or mid March. (I'm still waiting for my CES report and ATT) In your case, was your actual exam date the same with the estimated time they've set?
