I was wondering if anybody has signed up with AVANT HEALTHCARE PROFFESIONALS, a USA based agency for NURSES and PTs, which currently sponsors NCLEX-passers. Any updates with your application?

I have started this thread thinking we could update on the process that you are undergoing since US visa bulletin is fast moving.

For those who signed up with AVANT, please. Share your experience with them here.

please how long does it take for the board of nursing to give approval for the NCLEX exam and who pays for the visa application fee to india... RN or avant. thanks

Hi Zim, I am with avant and currently waiting for my NCLEX RN test schedule ( Hopefully I will also pass) Try to apply with them. They are so responsive. From what country are u? Since you already have your Nclex, VSC, IELTS, i believe it will be easier for you to get an employer. Best of luck to all of us.

I'll be having an interview with one of their recruiters soon. I just sent them the avant's experience summary form and my ielts result along with my accomplished checklist which i did on the website provided. What are your experiences during the interview? Are there applicants who weren't able to continue because of failed interview?

Hello aydmar, I dont know if they have failed applicants before bcoz of the interview. The questions they will be asking are basically what you have submitted them: your hospital experiences, your skills, how often do u perform a certain procedure, etc. God bless on the interview. :)

Will they let you know right away if you were able to pass it or not?

I cant remember them telling me that i passed. All they said was they are looking forward to work with me. Anyway, the interview is just a follow up on the checklist u submitted them. They just want to know if what u filled up in the check list were true. All I can remember is that after the interview, they sent me the contract.

hi guys! i just applied in avant. any idea after the interview, what's the next step? i haven't taken the nclex-rn but they're aware.

Should I apply for the cgfns now or wait for them? please advice thanks.

Once you have the contract, does that mean you have an employer or they will guide you and help u seek an employer?

Hi dee, AVANT will shoulder your cgfns and nclex fees, u just have to wait for their instructions. When I applied to avant, I don't have nclex and my cgfns was addressed to different state but they took care of all that. I believe that Avant will be the one to look and send you to a hospital where u can work and Avant will be the one to give you your salary.
