I was wondering if anybody has signed up with AVANT HEALTHCARE PROFFESIONALS, a USA based agency for NURSES and PTs, which currently sponsors NCLEX-passers. Any updates with your application?

I have started this thread thinking we could update on the process that you are undergoing since US visa bulletin is fast moving.

For those who signed up with AVANT, please. Share your experience with them here.

Whats the purpose of competency exams? What if you failed it? Meaning, we re not gonna get the contract offer?

I passed NCLEX RN last February 18 and I am already taking the 1st step of immigration with Avant! I am hoping to work in the USA soon.

Hi kairiplasty... where are u from? How long did avant contacted you after your quick result had been released? I am also with avant and took the last feb28 and also passed. Thank u and God bless.

hello! I am from Philippines. They contacted me via email after around 10 days. They aim to file my I - 140 petition by the end of March. :)

Hi alex, whats the purpose of competency tests? What if you failed the first test but passed the second test?

Hi mitch, I think it's ok if u failed the 1st, u can always try the 2nd time. I have a friend who failed at first but they allowed her to try again. I think the purpose of the competency exam is to assess ur nursing skills. Gid bless on ur journey with avant
