Thought I'd get this started for the rest of us who, sadly, did not make it in for Fall 2010. I'm hoping to re-submit my application for Spring today (or this week). Does anyone know, do we receive the form from the nursing office? Or, is this something we should grab from the website?
My score upon re-applying will be 54.899. Dang, sure am hoping this will be high enough and get me in this round!
How's everyone else holding up? Did everyone complete the pre-req - 1105 already? I have not and won't (due to extenuating circumstances) until early Fall. Will this negatively impact my chances of getting accepted? According to Tammy and the office, no. But, wanting to get everyone's input. Hoping we will hear about acceptance by Sept. Does anyone know this date for sure? The application period closed July 15, don't know why it takes them so long to get this word out.
Anyway- good luck to you. This is my 3rd round of applying so I sure am ready to get in and get on with this career change!

Hey everyone, Congrats on getting in officially and to those that are still waiting good luck with everything. I decided to defer until Fall because it will be easier for me to have my baby in spring and start fresh in fall. Hope you all have lots of fun in the program.

According to the messages here, I am only 8 or 9 places away from the cutoff. Still hoping (and learning about the new TB stuff in the meantime)
Has anybody taken the online orientation post-test yet? I have taken it four times now and am STILL failing it. Some of the questions I am getting incorrect are in direct contradiction to the answers explained in the module. It's very frustrating...I'm just wondering if there's something wrong with the test itself.

I was pretty sure some of the ones I got 'incorrect' were stated in the orientation as well! But I copied my results page into a word doc, then just went 'back' on the online test and changed the ones that they claimed were wrong.

Yeah, I did that too, and finally passed (I think...question #12 was missing from the results altogether so I still don't know if I got it right!) But I know that some of the answers I ended up putting on there to pass it were not correct...I compared the test questions and the orientation side by side in different browser windows and the answers were correct but flagged as incorrect on the test.
I feel better knowing that it is not just me...I have never been bad at taking multiple choice reading comprehension type tests but I was starting to wonder for a minute!
I'm doing the same one right now. Question # 6 about the health restoration. The answer I chose is exactly word for word like the module and it marked it incorrect.
I took it twice, the first time I got 6 questions "incorrect" the second time I only got 2 "incorrect". The same two which read word for word just like the modules. Uggghhh frustrating!! Questions 9 and 10. Aggravating!! I am just going to leave these as "incorrect" and accept my 90%. hehe!

I'm going scrub-shopping with my [RN] mom on Thursday But I'm hoping I can get the scrubs from another store and then go to T U for my patches. I also need scrubs for St.Davids, where I just got a job:yeah:
so I sure am ready to get in and get on with this career change!
