Augusta University BSN Fall 2018 Cohort

Hi, guys! I have applied to Augusta University's BSN program-Athens Campus for the Fall of 2018 and wanted to start a thread to compare stats and experiences with the application process. Comment below if you are planning on applying or already have applied! I mainly am just so eager to find out if I got in or not. Fingers crossed!

I can't attend main campus either so I was definitely bummed to see the change. My status did change today to decision made so hopefully I will get the letter in a few days!

I'm sorry your campus changed :( hopefully there's a way to wait list for the other campus. On the other hand, even if there's not, you had the stats to at least be accepted, so hopefully it helps you feel better about your chances anywhere else you applied!

Best of luck to you both! Maybe try calling admissions too and see if you could be put on the Athens waitlist if they accept you to the main campus? I really wanted the Athens campus myself as it's much closer to where I live/trying to stay PRN at CHOA, but got accepted to the main campus instead. Although it's not quite what I wanted the facilities there are incredible! I know y'all's circumstances are a bit different since some of you said you could only attend the Athens campus so maybe try explaining that to admissions. My fingers are crossed for you guys! Also if anyone has any info on when orientation is and stuff like that, let me know! I feel super in the dark on when everything starts and what not

If you are accepted to main campus but want to go to Athens, they will let you get on the waitlist but they unaccept you for the Augusta campus. So it's kind of gambling game :/

I just paid to hold my spot at Augusta. I definitely don't wanna risk it!!

All, I was accepted into the Augusta Fall BSN in Athens, but I have chosen to attend Georgia College Fall BSN where I have also been accepted. I am already here and feel that it will provide a smoother transition into the crazy nursing schedule. Good luck to you all and hopefully my Athens spot can go to one of you!

Congrats!! I just graduated from GCSU this past May and several of my friends went through their program. They all loved it!

If anyone knows of any cheap/affordable student or I guess non student apartments in Augusta please let me know!!!

For those of you who got accepted into Augusta when you noticed your status change, how long did it take for your letter to come??

Do they get mailed the day your status changes or...?

@hillyhills, mine changed on a Friday and then I received my letter that Wednesday!
