Augusta University BSN Fall 2018 Cohort

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi, guys! I have applied to Augusta University's BSN program-Athens Campus for the Fall of 2018 and wanted to start a thread to compare stats and experiences with the application process. Comment below if you are planning on applying or already have applied! I mainly am just so eager to find out if I got in or not. Fingers crossed!

Hello everyone! I was accepted into the Athens campus, but have decided to go to Kennesaw instead. Hopefully my spot goes to someone currently on the waitlist for Athens! I wanted to post my stats for future readers: 3.9 gpa and 84.7 teas. Goodluck to everyone!!

Hey everyone! I have been accepted to the main campus in Augusta and am now looking for somewhere to live. Does anyone know of any places near campus? Thanks in advance!

Hey! do you know of anyone who was waitlisted for Athens and then got accepted? I really wanted to be accepted into the Athens campus but ended up at the Main campus but Im debating about whether or not it is too risky to be waitlisted

My status finally changed! Hopefully will find out this week!

I've heard that many people on the waitlist end up gaining acceptance. I wonder if there is a way to know how far down on the waitlist you would be. Also, keep us posted samkit102092!

So I got waitlisted but I'm pretty happy because my stats are not the best. My cousin applied last and got waitlisted along with a bunch of her fiends and they all got accepted. So hoping for the best. I did get into USC Aiken so I have a backup if need be.

I was waitlisted as well! Hopefully I will find out soon. Does anyone know how this process works?

and congratulations USCA has a great nursing school. If I end up not getting into AU I am going to apply to USCA!!

Beckyyy did you take micro and chem II at GGC? If so, were the pretty easy/were the professors good? I'm taking them this summer I really want an A in both!

Got my denial letter today! Lol I'm not sweating it though :)

Danielle I know I wasn't who you asked but I took Chem and micro at GGC... It depends on who you take. It's not an easy a by any means but there are some awesome professors here!

Its not easy. Both classes require A LOT of effort and work. I had a really good professor for Micro thankfully but it was definitely not easy. Chem 2 again, I had a really good professor. If It wasn't for my professors, I wouldn't of gotten As lol

I dropped my spot to Augusta yesterday! I hope one of you deserving future nurses get the spot! I feel a little sad but I required A LOT of effort to make my decision. Y'all are awesome! Have fun at Augusta :)

Hey I know I haven't checked back in on this thread in a while, but I'm happy to see a lot of you being accepted into programs! I didn't want to make a new thread for a simple question, but I could use some quick advice. I'm taking microbiology in the summer which is only 4 credits, and I was JUST informed that I have to take 6 credit hrs to be eligible for financial aid. So I was wondering which class and of you suggest I take. I have Abnormal Psychology, Health Psychology, and Cyber Security in the Health Care Setting. Any advice is welcome and I appreciate it!
