Hi everyone,

I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?

Is this page okay for someone who is attending one of the campus locations other than North Campus? I noticed the page says: North Campus- Nursing.

I read this thread on/off. Despite the waiting and stress of every life..you guys sound ready to do this, so that's awesome!!

Congrats to everyone who are in Pre-Admission! I'm also in Pre-Admission and my orientation is at Central Campus on June 30th. @1pm.

I'd like to join your Facebook page so I can get to know those who'll be starting in August...or is it limited to certain people only?

I'm trying get everything done for orientation...but have a question.

Besides your Dr office, is there anywhere I can get my titers done, I have to get 3 more...I have no insurance and it's costing a lot at my Dr's office.

Hi I am new to this August thread.I am a member of the May thread.I was supposed to start in May but deferred my seat. Does anyone know when the break is for us starting in August??Congrats to all of you who have been accepted.I Have been in the medical field for 22 yrs and it is very rewarding. I will be going to north campus

Does anyone know about how long we will have to complete the Dr appts and all the stuff we need to do after we get the info from orientation?

This is interesting as I read on this site where someone posted that you might be able to take the Maths or Pharm prior to class (since you're accepted in the program). However, everyone's situation is different and things do change from time to time.

Are Fundamentals of Success and Test Success the same books, and do they both come in the package?

Is there a book called Test Taking & Critical Thinking Skills? Can anyone say if they have used them (or know someone who has), and how good are they?

It should be fine since its just math practice and the math doesnt vary from campus to campus
