  1. Hi, If anyone is about to start the program and looking for text books to buy please send me private message. I have books from a few of the classes to sell. Thanks!
  2. Morning, If you look at the schedule, for me it's north's schedule, it says we have hospital orientation on 9/30, 10/1 then a couple more days it says hospital, then a return demo in mid October with a couple of math quizzes then hospital on 11/18. Stel, Monica and Red.. Maybe we can all meet up at North tomorrow. Let me know and I can send you my number. Good luck to everyone at South & Central!
  3. Hi, Wearing scrubs & nursing shoes...haven't gotten white sneakers yet. See you Monday Red .. Although I have no idea who you are lol
  4. Ok, thanks, knowing what to focus on is going to be difficult for the first test.
  5. Hammond: I see what you're saying. I was able to add the 2 main textbooks for free. I'm just hoping I don't have to spend $154, it was for Nclex and case studies.. Diva fresco: thanks for the advice. I have a question. When they test, is it nclex type questions with scenarios or is it on the chapters, lecture, and notes or both? Thanks I went to north for the modules and student handbook as stated in the d2l info and book list and north doesn't have it and they didn't know when they would get it, but stated we don't need it for the first day and if by Monday they still don't have it...the instructor would know why we don't have it. Who are north students again? I think stel and olkan? We're gonna need the mental support come Monday!
  6. Hi, thanks hammockbound: I tried looking for the books, but it's only giving me option to enroll in the instructors course or it's free with access code. Thanks, I'll wait on that. This was for north campus, under the orientation info, it's under Evolve signon codes, the courses are HESi rn practice teats and case studies
  7. Hi, anyone aware of us having to purchase Evolve instructor led course online at the Evolve website.... There are 2 courses costing $154!
  8. I agree, the scrubs look crappy for their cost, mine are huge. You can get pants at discount scrubs on royal palm near La Parrila, Walmart has too, or all uniform wear near Ruby's academy on Sunrise blvd, or festival flea market has a store that sells scrubs too.
  9. Hi, The scrub tops I bought from North campus is a little different, it say associate degree nursing or something like that, I don't have it in front of me.
  10. Olk an - I haven't gotten any of those yet, but plan to get the fundamentals of success.
  11. If you have it...sure! Trying to read the book and every time I get sleepy...
  12. Does anyone have the link to the PDF for the fundamentals textbook? Thanks!
  13. Hi, red1018: north has a math professor now Melanie king-gulliver, she emailed with a notebook request, reviews are not helpful... north hasn't hasn't posted anything on D2l yet...
  14. Hi, I turned my papers in yesterday, got fundamentals books and a couple of other books, the book stores (not bc) are telling me not to even buy most of the books. I'm buying used anyways so it won't go to waste. Waiting on pharmacology and math books, books stores didn't have any.
  15. Hi, I'm so glad to be done with micro! That was rough all by itself. Looking for books to buy, but I really don't want to buy when I keep hearing we won't be using some. I might be buying Lewis, perry & potter ones. Anyone bought books yet?
