Hi everyone,

I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?

Awe, I think so but not sure. Either way were happy your here cause we need more men in this field. Check out NurseMendoza on youtube. He's an advocate for male nurses

Hey does anyone know if the book store at South Campus have any small-med scrubs and polos left???

They had small polos they rang up for 5.00 but depends who rings you up. .. And they had all size tops just not those small pants. They had xs pants and small with elastic.

It isn't worth tips really because you can't choose. You get what they have.

The teachers rotate from what I see. .. But they are great so far. They are tough but very good at teaching you.

All the math you will need is on this site from a BC Professor Nursing Process Math

Is this page okay for someone who is attending one of the campus locations other than North Campus? I noticed the page says: North Campus- Nursing.

oh ok I get it now, I didnt know that was the way it worked I'm so used to regular classes where it's a free for all...nevertheless thanks and I'm extremely happy to hear that the instructors so far have been good, because that is one of my biggest worries.
