Hi everyone,

I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?

Tops and bottoms are 10 each now! Everything is 50% off. Except books. I think polos are 27 less 50% I would check equipment as well if you need it. .. bandage scissor, cuff, stethoscope, etc.

Hello Everyone

Last week I received my acceptance email for Broward College (BC) August 2014 program. According to the email, the pre-admission session will be on Monday, June 30 at 1:00pm at Central Campus. I will be attending North campus & I hear process 1 & 2 are the killers, so I have a few questions:

What are the books/ materials I may start reading now

Does anyone have a copy of the class schedule/ chapters to be read

Should I buy the book bundle or purchase books as needed

Can I do my Pham and Math class now, & what are their codes

Feel free to ask me any questions as well. Thanks so much

Pharm and math are with process 1& 2 . Math is not the full semester. You can't register for anything until the nursing department sends you the codes.

8th edition fundamentals is the most reading for theory. Each campus does different chapters. Get the study guide. Get fundamentals of test taking. Math review is online at North campus nursing. The clinical book is almost the same book but explains the procedures. I bought them all on Amazon. I would just wait till you get a booklist. .. The bookstore should list them on their page.
