August 2014 for Broward College

Hi everyone,

I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?

Ok, thanks. I bought a green packet that said nursing process I on it. I guess I should just ask the bookstore people. For south campus, my professor already put up the syllabus and I believe the module is available there as well. I'll just get it as the bookstore to save ink!

The process packet is for class... There is a different orientation packet. Not sure what color it is.

It's a whole different vibe there in the summer isnt it? Its like the country and fall and winter is like New York City lol

If u look at the clinical syllabus on the first page number 1 and number 4 (books needed by 8/25) they do not have in the bookstore yet

I was just wondering how come we still haven't received any info for north.I hear people talking about syllabus and info on homework to read ahead for other campuses but nothing for north. Also math class still has no instructor yet.I wanted to look up reviews on the math instructor.ugh!

So I guess ill head back to the bookstore Friday then. This is kinda ridiculous. Why wait two days before class to have that stuff ready. I heard it was nothing more than like a packet they have to print out anyway.UGhhhhhh

Been reading and taking notes on the Infection and Prevention Control chapter. It should just have the words :"WASH YOUR FREAKING HANDS REPEATEDLY" in it. Its kinda repetitive but learning about the pathogens and what not is pretty cool. Also started the homework and am stumped on one of the questions. Anyone else started yet?
