Hi everyone,

I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?

Been reading and taking notes on the Infection and Prevention Control chapter. It should just have the words :"WASH YOUR FREAKING HANDS REPEATEDLY" in it. Its kinda repetitive but learning about the pathogens and what not is pretty cool. Also started the homework and am stumped on one of the questions. Anyone else started yet?

I thought we couldn't access the homework til d2l was up???

Anyone going to central: have u picked up bc modules, student handbook and kantis clinical thing??

I see you have Kantis. For all who have Kantis, a Word of advice: show her you're a serious student. Don't goof around and participate in the class. I didn't have her for transition process but I had her for GI/GU clinicals. She's an amazing clinical instructor BUT she's a TOUGH cookie. Don't be intimidated. :)

Hi,

red1018: north has a math professor now Melanie king-gulliver, she emailed with a notebook request, reviews are not helpful...

north hasn't hasn't posted anything on D2l yet...

You have Stauffer..Good luck lol. Jk. She's not that bad, but yes, South in general has a more stringent policy. The last day of class AFTER the final, my boyfriend and I were walking in the nursing building on the way to our car and she pointed out his cross necklace. Then again she teases him a lot. Lol

Wow thanks!
