Hi everyone,

I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?

to make up for the osha hr, you can do the infection control and barrier precautions one.

I'm having a really BIG problem...I need a quest diagnostics that's open on Saturdays idc where it's located I'm willing to travel!!!! please any help would be great!!!

Hello Everyone,

I was recently accepted in to the Fall 2014 fro South Campus, but I was able to reregister for Central. I am positive I have missed the first orientation and I am going tomorrow to meet up with the nursing department and Nichole Howell. Can you please fill me in on what I have missed? I haven' received any emails due to this fresh transfer, I have completed all of my paperwork. I am just a little worried since I see that some of you are saying we have homework due already?? :***:

Thank you! Hope to see you all soon!

For those who went to north orientation, the dean emailed us a schedule of classes and dates for throughout our program

That was a biggg problem for me too because of work. I took advantage that we were out today and went. It took literally 5 mins in and out. Tell your boss you got a flat and you're going to be late lol. Or your lunch break. That's what I was going to do

Make an appt on questdiagnostics.com just fill in your zip code and find one near you. It is much faster than walking in. Good luck!

I will try and fill you in as much as possible. I dont have a way to email the syllabus though but I believe you can get that from the nursing dept at Central. Look out for an email

Orientation was great, but I left feeling a little disappointed. I thought they would hand out the syllabus today as some of us are trying to start reading ahead. North Campus could be a great learning environment, if the next five semesters go as well as the orientation. I am very uncertain about starting in the Fall. I completed only the drug test so far. I am very unstable financially; I don't think I'll be able to answer to all of the expanses ahead, for the program as well as my own. Where can I get the titers done for as little as possible? I've seen some ridiculous prices on this forum.

Dr365 is the cheapest Ive seen so far.

Drs365,

If u do all the titers and leave the hep b for later it'll be cheaper. U can always do that later it's up to you
