Hi everyone,
I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?
OAN we have homework for NUR1020L that will be due Wednesday August 27th-Unit one and two from the STAT book. I am still confused about this course module objective we need as part of our portfolio. Also, when is the book store going to allow us to purchase the clinical hand out packet? I am also wondering it they will have enough spots in the physical assessment and skills workshop for all the students I saw there at orientation since they are only allowing 10 spots per workshop. And from my calculations there are only four workshops scheduled. Nursejackie.....HELLLLLLLPPPPPP!
LOL girl I dont know how theyre gonna work that clinical out. Maybe thats why were going to the criminal justice building for clinicals Tuesday and Wednsday? As for books August 11 was the new info i got today so Im just gonna focus on the Perry Potter readings until the 11th
I have been purchasing what I can off amazon and chegg. It is such a disadvantage for the students to not be able to get their books earlier than that.

Hi everyone, I am completing my CEU's in ceufast.com, but I noticed that in the form of Broward College it has the TB/OSHA/HEPATITIS to be completed in 6 clock hours. In the website they are all separate and they add up to 5 clock hours instead of 6. I was wondering if anyone has come across the same issue and if so what did they do? I have to turn in all my papers by August 1st any response would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Hey dolls,
Don't know if anyone still needs this info but thought I share where I got my bls card...I paid only $25 and BC accepts it. Call 954-800-4100 just tell them your a nursing student plus they faxed in my paperwork for me. The class was short which was good be I had to worry about other things for school. Hope it helps.
