Hi everyone,
I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?
As I had said last week..you can wear makeup, not clown makeup.Y ou can wear natural, light makeup but who wears heavy clown makeup in the afternoon anyways( I guess some people do).Someone said she said better live it up now during summer( referring to makeup) because it will be over with soon. She did say that but was referring to crazy nails and crazy hair colors.I confirmed it with Dr. Sandy at south and north campus. She said some people think light makeup is clown makeup.I thought it didn't sound right no makeup at all and knew in orientation I only heard her refer to No clown makeup.I mean I'm sure no patient wants to see everyone with no makeup first thing in the morning...lol...
Lol, wear anything that you think you would wear to a job interview.. Seems like you guys would be better off wearing the scrubs to the orientation..? I didn't like the idea; glad North changed it to business casual.
I would wear the scrubs except I only have the polo and bottoms. Im just gonna go business casual i guess.
Hmmmm....hcp was covered I am registered for the fall. However I went to the financial aid office and I asked if they would cover the other classes like CPR, medical errors , etc and financial aid told me that they would not. I guess I will have to try to register for the classes and see if it picks it up. I am a new student to BC however I noticed that the people that work in some of these offices give incorrect information
BC??? I don't know what to do about this F.A stuff. They gave me money for summer, so I paid the CEU classes. But now they're telling me that I owe the school and if I don't pay them, they will send me to a collection agency. WITW? Did that happened to any of you guys?
That's exactly what happened to me. My F.A paid for the classes but after I completed the classes it showed on my account that I owed the school, and I had to pay it right away because I couldn't take my HESI unless I paid.
It was a major setback for me SMH!!
