Hi everyone,
I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?
so what you're saying is that when you registered for the classes & you look at your schedule it looks like the financial aid picks it up right?I just registered for CPR class and it shows paid on my schedule so what you're saying is that after I complete the class its going to kick it back on and then I have to pay for it?

Yes! When I registered for the classes financial aid paid for the courses then after I completed them, like 2 weeks later there was a fee posted to my account that I owed the school money. When I went to pay for my HESI exam the lady in the cashiers office said that CEU courses are no longer paid for by financial aid and I'll have to pay for the courses before I could take my HESI.
That's exactly what happened to me. My F.A paid for the classes but after I completed the classes it showed on my account that I owed the school, and I had to pay it right away because I couldn't take my HESI unless I paid.It was a major setback for me SMH!!
That totally sucks!! It didnt make me pay so thats strange as heck to me. they need to be more consistent
as far as the make-up thing please stop stressing it wear what you need to be comfortable if nobody says anything good for you...as for me my main focus is getting through this program without failing a class and becoming the BEST RN possible I could careless about eyeliner and foundation to be honest...I've graduated twice in 2 years and I never wore make-up to one class but like I said I work in a hospital and wear it almost everyday so my point is focus on whats important and leave the rest for later!!!!!
whos still talking about make-up? lol
