Hi everyone,

I've been a lurker on allnurses for years, and finally am finishing up school to move forward for my Associates at Broward. Unfortunately, they have totally thrown a monkey wrench in the pre-req requirements, and now I'm going to have to wait until Jan 2015 possibly to get into that program!!!!! I have all pre res done except for the new math, CHM and new Micro pre-req. This is devastating. I'm wondering though, is it possible to take the Micro and Lab in the summer and somehow slip in for the August 2014 program, or am i bananas?

Yesssss I cannot wait to start the rest of my life already. Need a career so I can get married, Have kids and b happily ever after. I'll eat off the dollar menu as long as I need to lol.

hahahaha

BC??? I don't know what to do about this F.A stuff. They gave me money for summer, so I paid the CEU classes. But now they're telling me that I owe the school and if I don't pay them, they will send me to a collection agency. WITW? Did that happened to any of you guys?

did u drop any classes after the withdrawl date anytime this summer? Thats the only way you end up owing, like if F.A paid for the class, then you drop it after the refund period you end up owing for the class. if that didnt happen something else is going on or there is a MAJOR glitch

No I didn't. Those classes were all I had for the summer.

You should go in and talk with them. If you cant call Financial Aid and ask them why and explain to them that you didnt drop or withdraw. They HAVE to give you an explanation and prove how you owe anything.

I guess I'll talk to them tomorrow, thanks.

I purchased the fundamentals by perry and potter of Chegg. Clinical skills of amazon and study guides as well. I will wait till orientation tomorrow to find out if the pharmacology and dosage calculations need access codes before purchasing those. I will start reading once my fundamentals gets here. This is not an advantage for us because we should be able to purchase our textbooks whenever we are ready to.

huhhhh??? that's insane I was going to try to start reading soon smh that's insane!!!!

Hey how are we going to introduce ourselves to each other tomorrow? Would be good to get started on forming a study group considering that we have a math test the first week of school.

Find out from your insurance company what facilities will accept for the titers and boosters. From reading other threads it appears that the titers and boosters are not covered by insurance companies. That may be the issue.

My insurance covered them both
