Hey everyone,

As we all know and fear.. the new ATI TEAS 6 came out yesterday (AUGUST 31st 2016).

If you have taken the ATI TEAS 6, please feel free to update the rest of us on how it was for you. As well as, any tips on studying and review materials that you found helpful!

Thank you.

Ugh thank you so much thats such a relief!!!

Congrats on your score i think thats awesome i wish mine had went that well i was off by a couple of points for my program so ill be taking it again in two months

I took this exact version yesterday. The science portion was VERY detailed. I got a 61% on the science portion and need a 70% for the school I'm applying to. I went home and purchased the TEAS 6 study guide because the 5 version was definitely not detailed enough. Everywhere I read said the 5 study guide is good enough but it is not. But everyone is right when they say know A&P. I think my test was about 90% A&P.

hey so did you use just the ati teas 6 manual to study? or did you use other books along with it?

Hello!I just took teas 6 practice test online but I only got 60%. i am so disappointed and planning to take a test on this Saturday. Now I feel really nervous because Ive been studying this for a couple months now. The bad thing was I was studying with "teas 5 study manual" from my college library. I didn't know its so much different between two. I just purchased 6 version study manual. hopefully it helps my score to increase. Is the online test harder than actual test? or they are about same? Any comment will be helpful! Thanks!

To me, the v 6 study guide for A&P was not detailed...so I will use other material to cover the science portion when I retake it next month.

Study guide is not enough? well... I have to study for A&P again.

Thank you for the info:)

Do you think the actual test was easier than practice test?

Hello everyone! I am taking the new version on the 12th of December so I have a lot of time to study and prepare. I am usually a bad procrastinator, but I am really trying to stay on top of things. I scored a 77 on the version v so I am hoping to score a lot higher for this new version. Anyone know of any good free online exams or practice questions for the new version?

I took the new TEAS and used a study guide for the TEAS 5 exam. I did however use additional study materials for A&P and I watched a lot of Khan Academy videos on youtube.

Hello. I plan on taking my TEAS VI test this Friday. I have spent about 5 hrs skimming through the study manual. Fortunately, I did very well in my A&P courses (I got nearly 100% in both sections), and I have a degree in engineering which conveniently makes the math section quite simple for me as well. I guess the plethora of papers I had to write in university has made my grammar pretty decent, as well. I'm pretty scared for the Reading section, where I've missed 5 questions on the practice test.

High school was a LONG, LONG time ago for me, but aside from science, the test seems to be on par with the exit exam in high school. I think a lot of good test-taking strategies go a long way as well. Honestly, I don't know how percentages on individual sections related to percentiles from a historical standpoint, so I don't know where exactly I stand. I mention this because quite frankly, aside from the A&P, bio, and chem information we are responsible for in the science section, I don't really see how any of the other sections leaves much room to differentiate applicants.

Because the TEAS VI is pretty new, I think it will take a few rounds of testing for scores to normalize into a standard, and this plays into our favor (students who are taking the test sooner than later). By over-preparing and being ready for any caveat, I think we can take advantage of the test being relatively unknown before the "formula" of the test is figured out and the average scores go up. Good luck on the studying everyone!

I recently took the TEAS 6. Before I took it, I went on this site to hopefully relieve some of the stress I was feeling before taking the TEAS 6. It was slightly helpful, and I say "slightly" because it is a new version of the TEAS and there is not a lot of feedback yet. This is why I decided to get back on this site and share my TEAS 6 experience. First of all, I passed!! But barely. My issue was I ran out of time on the Math section of the test. I only completed about half of the questions and STILL passed. I strongly advise anyone who is taking this test to answer the easier questions first then go back to the ones you started to struggle with. I answered my math questions correctly, but my math score was obviously low because I only completed half. Knowing what I know now, I should've skipped the more difficult problems and came back to them later. I definitely would've received a higher score. I ordered 3 books to study for the TEAS, and they freaked me out! The test was not that difficult in my opinion (if your nerves don't make you freeze up). If you only study the ATI study manual and take their practice tests you will do fine. The other TEAS 6 books I bought had way too much information and way harder than the actual test. The science portion of the TEAS 6 is mostly A&P.....only a couple questions on Chemistry. I actually finished the science portion with a lot of time left, and the same with English. Unfortunately for me, I could not apply that extra time to my math test. Hope this helps a little.....

What part of the math section did you find difficult? I would think the world problems probably take most time deciphering.
