  1. Well I have been MIA for a while, but I received my denial email yesterday. I honestly feel so bummed about it. I have an associates degree already so I really would not want to retake any courses. I think maybe my TEAS weren't competitive enough? I will be sending them an email asking if it was my TEAS score or maybe I did something wrong in my immunizations that kept me out of the program? I dont know. I am honestly just confused. Oh well. I will be studying for my HESI exam in the meantime so I can apply to UT Health. Good luck to everyone on here. Don't give up! & to those that got accepted - the best of luck to you all!
  2. oh man! I dont like that immunizations can stop someone from applying. I almost wasnt able to either because I didnt realize you needed the Varicella vaccine if you didnt have a positive titier but thankfully I was. Good luck with your lab results!
  3. I have officially turned in my application! Yay! I am so nervous. I sent over my TEAS and also all of my vaccinations. Good luck to everyone!
  4. I still have yet to turn in my application, but I will be turning it in soon as soon as I can get a hold of someone in regards to my granted credits. I took Chem at Lonstar College and yet they only credited me 3 credit hrs instead of 4... Not sure if that will effect me or not... My stats: GPA 3.4 Reading: 85% Math: 91% Good luck to everyone!
  5. I'm applying but I haven't submitted yet. I just need to get my blood drawn. Did you submit all immunizations with your application?
  6. Has anybody had any of their MyStar stuff change? Such as holds, or green light, or something else? I sent my updated transcripts yesterday, but other than that nothing has changed for me. I wonder if we will get emails announcing the commencement of application reviews. HAHA I felt like that last sentence was something like the hunger games! Good luck to everyone!
  7. I think their process is not so bad... Im applying to UTMB to start in the spring and my deadline was May 31 and I havent heard a thing. I believe we start hearing back in a like another month or two. I did not end up applying to sam to start in the fall since my micro professor did not upload my grade in time, but I will be submitting my app for the spring on July 1st. Don't lose hope! You have come this far not to just give up. Good luck to everyone who is still waiting.
  8. @mani1391 - I did not receive my supplemental application til almost 2 weeks later! Once I filled it out and paid, I received my mystar login about 3 days later.
  9. I have the mystar login now, but now its just the waiting game. I have sent my updated transcripts and now I am just finishing up my spring mini and then ill officially be done with my associates.
  10. I finally got my supplemental form. It took about 2 weeks from the day I submitted my NCAS application. I filled it out and submitted already. Its starting to feel so real and the process just takes forever! I hope we all get in!
  11. Hmm I haven't received my nursing cas acknowledgement letter yet. Do you mind telling me what the letter said? Its been about 8 days since I turned everything in, but that's also including the weekend.
  12. Can yall please post on here when yall receive the supplemental application... I still haven't received mine. I think I am just being in impatient.
  13. @Onthepath91 - True! I also attended an open house (last semester) and they said to send them directly, but some things can change so who knows.
  14. @charlea.adams - Hi! I read on here... https://nursing.utmb.edu/future-students/ncas-application-process.pdf Bummer if we didn't have to send them directly, because I just paid 29 bucks to do so!
