Atheist Professers

Hi everyone! I'm kind of new here, and I have a question: Right now I'm in A&P and my professor is an all out atheist. I realized when I decided to go the nursing route I would encounter many scientific minds, but whew! How do you fellow believers keep this from getting to you? Just a little friendly conversation starter, not trying to start a creation vs evolution debate. Hope to hear from yall!

Indeed......life is so hard to live most times. Every day is filled with so many stress factors, and many people come to these BB threads just to hang out, learn a little somethin'-somethin', laugh, have a good time, pray or share positive thoughts with each other...whichever one chooses to do of those two...and hopefully they will go away feeling as if their hearts and burdens have been lifted to a lighter degree. I know that's why I come to this BB. It really doesn't matter to me if this thread is closed or left open...I just hope I've made someone smile today. If I haven't...I need to really search myself and figure out why I'm not having a good enough time to share with another soul. May your soul be lifted today and your stress factors seem smaller when you leave this BB, too. :kiss :)

ahem. how do i know the generalized statement you made did not refer to me? didn't it refer to atheists? didn't you say they were "pushy?" didn't someone else say they were "confused little individuals?"

so you respect my beliefs, you just choose to place a label on them (and me)? am i pushy? in the year and a half you have been here, have i ever pushed by beliefs on you? until this thread, had you any clue as to what my beliefs even were? no. one man who took things too far and attacks the pledge, that is what you're basing your opinion of atheists on?

sure, we can debate, but please debate intelligently about the professor and the student. when you resort to insulting someones beliefs and name calling, your argument deteriorates.
