Hello, All! My packet for 66P AD packet is almost complete and will be submitted for the October Board, fingers crossed. Anyone else waiting for this board? How has your whole process been? Anyone who has previously undergone this experience is more than welcome to give input! Thanks!
Spoke with my recruiter too and he says they are backed up on the scrolls. I've been waiting for a little over a month for the scroll now but I can see that many people here waited much longer?. The recruiter is hoping that the appointment order will come with the scroll. I'm crossing my fingers and hope to get everything in by Thanksgiving?.... It's so hard to plan anything ahead of time when you are waiting for this process to come together.
Hello,
does anyone have any information regarding what to expect for training or where I could go on here to get this information. I was selected for 66S and have ICU experience on the civilian side. I also am an officer in the Army already, so I’m doing a branch transfer to 66S.
Is there 66S specific training in addition to BOLC? I was told I would be doing a 28 day BOLC?

I don't know if they will make you go to DCC or not since you are already an Army Officer. I don't believe they will have specific AOC training. I am coming in as 66P and the only two courses I will be required to complete prior to reporting are DCC and BOLC. Congrats on your selection!

I had to sign the same letter yesterday. I told my recruiter that if I don't get my order by end of September, I'll be out and moving on. I am just tired of waiting around.

Even after you receive scroll and commission, you could still be waiting quite some time for orders. I waited 6 months after commissioning to receive orders, I didn't even have any contact info for my unit. Even still, I am waiting to be sent to DCC and BOLC and I commissioned 9 months ago. If waiting is not something you can handle, you may want to reconsider now ?

Yes, I was selected a while back, about 6 months ago (Army reserves). just been waiting and waiting... Trying to get into AF reserve now. Hopefully, i wont have to wait as longgggggg.
I don’t mind waiting just as long as I am seeing some forward progress. I have a good job right now but not want I want to do long term. It’s just hard to plan for my child who will be starting kindergarten next fall if we don’t know where we will be stationed in a timely manner. We are certainly flexible but I still like to plan ahead. I thought active duty would move a lot faster than this. My recruiters have a couple physicians and a psychologist who have also stated they may withdraw their acceptance if things don’t move forward.

Still awaiting the appointment order to commission. Taking bets to see if it’ll happen before FY2020 lol
