U.S.A. Arizona

Hello,

I have an interview for banners new grad experience. I was wondering if anyone has gone through this, what the interview process is like, was there more than 1 interview. How soon did you hear back. What was the program like.. and any tips for the interview! So pretty much any and all information that you might have!

Thank you, your time is greatly appreciated!

Hi everyone! I recently applied to Banner's new grad program east valley. I currently work at Abrazo in the PCU, but I'm having a really hard to adjusting to nights and they do not have day positions open, so I'm now looking for a new job. I applied the other day but havent heard anything back! Is there a way to contact a recruiter?!

I applied for the Tucson one as well and a recruiter called me this morning and I said I prefer Phoenix but would locate to Tucson and he said the next set of interviews are next week and I look out for emails! Do you think that sounds like I may get an interview?

Yes I think that's a good sign! He is the recruiter for Phoenix and Tucson. So he might end up getting you one for a Phoenix location.

So you got hired as a new grad for the PCU at Abrazo?

Okay thank you! I said Phoenix but I'm kicking myself because I wouldn't mind working at any of the Banner facilities around the area including Sun City. I should have asked for his emailí ½í¸” I wasn't expecting it to be a recruiter so I was kind of thrown off guard! But yes I was hired in the PCU say abrazo central. I still work there but I'm having a REALLY hard time adjusting to nights:( and even with a doctors note they still aren't accommodating. So I'm now looking for a days position.

I wouldn't stress too much about that you said phoenix, I'm sure he understood it meaning the Phoenix area... If you get an interview you can ask if it is for a Tucson position or Phoenix area. And they will ask you which hospitals you want (west or east valley).

Do you have your BSN?

Okay! Gosh I hope I get this interview. Yes I have my BSN from GCU. I graduated in April of this year.

I applied to Tucson too. Had an interview today and they put me in at PCU Desert in Mesa!

It was awesome! I think they still have some spots open but only night shifts right now. Good luck! Hope you hear back soon.

Congrats!! Aww man that's unfortunate about just night positions:( But thank you!! I hope it is very soon:)

Does the recruiters name start with an H? I just want to make sure I remember his name!

Yeah.

Is anyone starting or just started the Banner New Grad program? I'm starting in December! How are you liking it so far?
