I just bought Nike sneakers for nursing school and I am not sure if they are acceptable or not ... Nike Women's Dart 9 Running
My worries are that they are not completely white, which I hope is still acceptable.
These are the requirements for shoes that my nursing department said:
Plain, all white leather shoes/sneakers
Thanks in advance for answering my questions!
Hi everyone my husband bought me these shoes Amazon.com: Nike Walker AS V: Shoes
They are very comfortable. The picture doesn't do them any justice and they look great in my hunter green scrubs. He got them from hibbett sports for $59.
im just gonna list the various things that have spilled or splashed on my shoes in clinical/at work:urine
shower water
liquid feces
blood
pureed food
amniotic fluid
vomit
various hot and cold drinks
etc.
do you really want to be wearing mesh shoes in a patient care area of any sort? yuck.
Ha ha, add Charcoal, Barium and anal gland secretion to that and you've got my sneakers from working at the vet clinic.
Nothing breaks a shoe in like good ole anals.
Im glad this post is here, i never even thought of buying shoes yet. Might aswell start shopping early. Can't see me finding time once school starts and I have the kid and studying to deal with.

Ok, so the app only showed up until "anal gland secretion" and I opened this thread competes freaked out as to why a nursing student would have anal gland secretions on her shoes and what on earth kind of procedure that would be.
I feel better now.
These are the shoes I got Google Product Searchhey aren't white but we are allowed to have white, ceil blue, or navy. Body fluids can't soak through these I don't think they have like a slick exterior that seems like it would roll off instead of sitting on it. Hope you find something!

My program allows clog style shoes like dansko and crocs. But the crocs have go be the ones without holes and have to have a heel strap. I got a pair of dansko's myself! :)
