Are priority questions really a good thing?

Published

hi, i just took my nclex yesterday morning and it shut off at 75 questions. i felt like i guessed on everything! i had 2 ob questions maybe 1 peds, 2 mh, and all the rest were med surge questions on diseases that we maybe spent 5 minutes learning! i also had a whole lot of priority questions! i have been hearing this is a good thing. can anyone tell me why this is a good thing? i accepted an amazing job with great benefits, no weekends or nights, and paid holidays and it is contigent on me passing boards!

because these are high level questions.

Priority questions are considered higher level. That is a good thing to get on the exam. :)

I guess you were all right. I had 75 questions and passed. It feels great to be a nurse!!!
