Immigration
I am in the process of training expert nurses in India to pass nclex and I have skilled nursing homes and agencies here who'd be interested in hiring. I need to figer out the legalities of it and how to proceed. I know that I should get my company incorporated, get a website, probably get a lawyer who'd handle immigration. What else would I need. Advice, suggestions?

Ok, does anyone feel as lost as I do....
I have been training in MSICU for 2 months now. I can handle 2 stable patients. But with the training 5 days a week. I don't have much energy to open up my books to read about new concepts. I am absorbing a lot at work. The docs look at me like, what do you mean you don't know pt's abgs by heart. I mumble and stumble through the day, trying to connect dots. Amist all of this I really enjoy nursing, the work, the role, the management of multidisciplines and all of that. But it is so exahausting, I run around like a deer caught in headlights, to say the least. Most of the times I look really underconfident, and rightly school. hey, I barely learnt how to give IMs in nursing school. And my hubby reminds me everyday of the promise I made during nursing school-start trying for a baby once I get done with school. I am 29 y.o and he is 33. And I've been thinking of starting my rn-bsn asap. Suggestions, advice. I'll be doing 3 12s once I am done with training.

Is it possible for a new graduate to get another per diem job, say 8 or 12 h/week?
Thankyou Suzanne for your input. As much as I am dying to have another job and love "if this didn't work out, I have the 2nd job" attitude. This isn't the right time. I am going to wait atleast 6-8 months before I interview for the 2nd job. One j.o.b is enough work and I am exhausted by the end of the day.

Is it possible for a new graduate to get another per diem job, say 8 or 12 h/week?
But I am not sure if it'll fit in my schedule. I am orienting on days (8 hrs)x 5 and will subsequently move to nights (12 hr)x 3, after the training. I'd like to start on a psych unit, right now I am on the ICU. I know, odd combination but these are the 2 that I love. Any ideas on how I can fit full time or part time 2nd job with this. Most of the hospitals I interviewed in nor cal offered 12s.

RN-BSN online-future MSN prospects
I want to do RN_BSN, so I can apply for a reputed MSN program (on campus). My question is how do universities(such as usf) look at graduates from online schools. P.S Even if it doesnot say "online" on the degree, schools that I apply to would know -its going to be on the resume, basically, I am not going to hide Also, how does BSN help us further our career, other than being a prereq for msn.

I Passed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank God
- MS ICU-high turnover
I have started in MS ICU, its kinda scary to see that most of the nurses have been there for a few months, couple years. Is it so hard to stay in ICU. Other floors have nurses who've worked there for 5/10/20 years.- I am taking my NCLEX TOMORROW
You'll do fantastic, stay positive. I'll pray for you.- NCLEX today!
You are in my thoughts and prayers. I passed with 75 and hope that you do to. Let us know when you get the result.- I am on the ICU floor this week...
I am a new RN starting in ICU, my question is- How should I conduct myself. I am not intimidated by doctors or attendings but by experienced nurses. I am also scared of getting sucked into politics. I listen to people and before you know it I am in the middle of a drama. How should I approach experienced ICU nurses, so that they don't think I am scared of them or hate them. Also I feel like all other new hires are my competetion, they're smart but whenever I ask a question I feel like- they're thinking oh! what a waste of time. How do I conduct myself so that experienced nurses and my manager thinks that I have potential. P.S I suck at schmoozing and joking around. I am good at learning, absorbing asking questions and taking things seriously. I have started smiling now, so that helps. Appreciate any kind of feedback, suggestions.- Great News, Everyone!
All the best to you for your exciting career, Ms RN- I feel like such a dork
Keep at it, till you get your answer. All the best misscheri- My turn!
All the best, you'll do great. Stay positive and relax. Breathe during the exam and don't rush. Let us know how it goes.- i think i failed my nclex test
Dear moonstars, my heart goes out to you. I was in the exact same situation couple days ago. I thought i'd failed and was so sad coz all my plans were gonna go haywire. But after what felt like eternity I found out that i passed. The advice I give you is- Everyone goes thorough this phase, just pull through and it will get better. And keep telling yourself that this shall pass too. Dont even think about not going to the orientation. I'd decided not to go,but eventually dragged myself to the orientation because suzanne, the moderator told me to and I figered she's been dealing with so many of us in the same situation, she must know something. I pray that God will give you strength to get through. All the best and just hang in there. And don't assume that you failed.- Thinking about rescheduling the NCLEX
an extra week, take it. Knowing that you've given it your 110%, gives peace and confidence which is so very important in passing this exam. A week is a reasonable time. I suggest that you make a schedule and realistically evaluate the difference this extra week will make. I was at the same point where you're at few weeks ago and I took those extra 5 days. Helped me calm down and refocuss. All the best to you. - MS ICU-high turnover
